After killing the Sovereign eye, I’m just stuck in the instance forever until i decide to leave manually. The next step never pops up.

I haven’t been able to reproduce the bug, but I did some minor revisions to the story step to try and make it more reliable. It will be updated in next week’s big content patch. As a side note, did you die and retry at any point?
