OK so i just finished the Ancient Karka event and got the precursor HOWL i sold it on the Trade post i got 2g in return what the hell… even though the projected profit was 22g

Looking at the screenshots you didn’t have enough money to sell to the highest buyer, you may have made a mistake somewhere.
