Ever since I changed my email to one that was different from my original GW email, I have not been getting news email. I did this around launch and that’s when the emails stopped coming. My old, original email account I used for GW is deactivated. I set my account to my newer gmail account, but have not gotten any emails regarding GW2 news, etc since this change back in August. Is there a way to fix this?

I would advise you to contact Customer Support again and let them know about this incidence so they can help you with it. Provide a comprehensive description of the problem and your account details.
