So, I bought guild wars before but had to get a refund due to problems. I bought guild wars again and reregistered, but it said my account already existed, so I figured I’d go ahead and link my new serial code to that, and I did. But it is still saying my account is closed due to refund. I tried making a new account again, but now the serial code’s invalid because I linked it to my already existing account

If you asked for and received an email, the account was closed, that is correct — that is the process and policy. Since you need help with adding the serial code to a new account contact Support by filing a ticket through the “Ask a Question” tab on that linked page. They will be able to assist you. For tips on what information to provide in a ticket, please read this post.
