I’m making this because the stickied thread is huge and it seems to be seldom looked at, or at least replied to.

Over the last 2 days I’ve made a couple of attempts to purchase 800 gems ($10 USD) through the gem store via PayPal and directly through an unlinked visa credit card. Each method results in either the “an error occurred finalizing your purchase” web page or “card approval failed” message in game.

I’m wondering why this is, because I know that both methods work everywhere else except GW2.
