Weve all seen the great armor of a male warrior so what do you guys think so far? Its very interesting to see ones such as the Sylvari as one of which looks like a dervish with its hood or possibly a ranger - there is also a hooded asura in another part of the video. Alot of headgear is used such as asuran goggles and also gadgets such as the asuran arm device, possibly to control the golems (he just so happens to look like Wez off pokemon colosseum dare i say, gotta snaggem all).
What do you expect armors are going to be based upon, proffesion or race? If proffession then there could be quite alot of work especially for different races involved and also the genders. What kind of armors would you like to see in game? I myself would love similar armors to the old ascalon guards in pre searing GW1, that was awesome. |

If you look during that part, when they go into the city and you can see a female paragon in purple armor, you can also see what looks to be lesser armors for other classes. 1ks maybe. They all look fairly cool.
The charr armor looks amazing, badass style. I'm sure they will be fitted to each race, there could be race based armor, or maybe it'll be all the same type of armor, just look different. |

ANet's done a phenomonal job with their armor design (sans EOTN, but that was an isolated incident) so I'm not worried at all that my characters won't look awesome.

Armor will likely vary between both professions and races. From what I saw in the trailer, Asuran > Charr > Norn > Sylvari > Human when it comes to how fancy armor gets... But that's only working off a couple of examples.

The warrior armor in the trailer looks cool , simple but nice. I just hope that GW2 have more variety of armors , and of course (crossing fingers) good bad ass looking armors
So far what we saw on the trailer is good. |

The armor looks great. I'm looking even more forward to seeing the new stuff now. I really want to see what they offer up for the Sylvari. They remind me of elves

I think the armors looked pretty awesome looking although i really hope we aren't stuck with proffession specific armors this time.

I'd like to see Armor-drops from monsters, customized to the character who finds it.
Maybe with bonuses that can't be added through crafting. |

Not a big fan of the Warrior armour we could see (the dude standing by the waterfall), but it does look like nice. Can't wait to see what the other armours will look like.

I also hope that all the good looking armour isn't ridiculously expensive,y'know paying like 60k just to get eotn type stuff which is only re-skinned tyrian stuff that looks a tad nicer.

I don't really care about the armors, but I hope the highest armor like fow is unlocked like pvp fow or zcoins to stop the ebaying. Something like 20 zcoins + ecto and shards and materials.

Look up the repair system from Warhammer Online. Basically you get a Ruined Armor Scrap, you take it to the repair merchant and it turns into an item for your class. Simple and very effective.

Wasn't it so that armor wasn't profession linked anymore?
Instead divided into light, medium and heavy armor or something. |

Anet has always done a great job with armor fashion so I'm sure they won't let us down. I like what I see thus far.
Also I fanatically agree that they should keep the current armor policy of relatively easily attaining max-stats gear (grind ftl). |

The charr armor looked pretty sweet. Even making me more sure to make a Charr for my main character.
Asura, meh, I like the GW1 Asura look better. |
