At 4:30 in the trailer this image is shown:
![]() It seems to depict a centaur fighting an norn in raven form. So will there be different norn forms besides the bear after all? Or is this just unpredictable concept art again. Also, those polar bear versions of the bear form shown in the trailer are pretty neat. |

I recall hearing something about a snow leopard in one of the interviews. Forget which one that was. It'll be cool when we finally see the different forms in action.

i think the norn forms wont give skills this time, merely buffs and could be kept up permanently like before. but you still have to use you own skills to make it good.

The article says they worship various Spirits of the Wild (Bear, Snow Leopard, Wolf, and Raven) and can shapeshift into mighty bestial forms.
That makes it sound like the Norn can indeed shapeshift into various forms and not just the bear. That rumor's been circulating but I hope it's true. Wolf form, here I come!

Certainly. Each form will increase the physichal attributes of the Norn. I find this the most likely: Snow Leopard: Increased Speed (attack and movement) Bear: Increased Health and Damage Raven: Increased Energy Regeneration and something else Wolf: Increased Chance for critical strike (if there's critical strike in GW2) |

I'm thinking something along the line that there will be bad things to each form, ie: Wolf: faster attack but less damage or something, so that we don't see "LFG nornway"

Eh, the only things I would say the norn can do at this point are polar bear and bear, and we didn't even see in game footage of the normal bear in the vid.
I wouldn't base anything off of the concept art in the trailer, even though it WAS in the trailer. It seems with GW2 they're really bringing the concept art to life, but that doesnt mean that it will make the journey from concept to in-game mechanic. Besides, that raven form looks butt ugly. |

I was pretty certain in the original PC Gamer article that was first shown said the norn could transfer into all 4 and that they were always trying to impress the different ones. Then when EOTN came out i wander why they left snow leopard out
