since there is environmental weapon there could be more expansed enviromental effects, such as
if -you get hit by projectile/other atk form while jumping youd suffer a knockout -jumping at wind-type AoE would make jump longer (could be used to go to higher areas) -armor literally has its own lifetime; becomes more rough-looking when lower hp (=some conditions would actually affect your character; such as cracked armour would make the armor hp lower. if the repair costs would be cheap or mobile this could work) it's anyway just a concept. |

![]() 2: maybe, would depend on the wind current for me to like it. (Unlikely to happen though) 3: No way, I like to collect different armors and wear them when i suits me. To keep track of that much armor and durability ..... ![]() The general idea for environmental effects sounds nice, like shooting arrows that can curve away depending on wind strength and direction. It sounds very nice, would definitely add an extra dimension of game play. However, I think this would be called a bit of code over kill. To check for all those conditions on every arrow (for example).... Now picture a group of rangers casting mutli-shot through a fire wall at an army of rat people doing the same thing ..... Or even worse, this in one of the large battle war zones they talked about. All in all. Personally I would like it. But it isn't likely to happen, because they want to make it run on mid level computers and plan on large scale battles. |

Well would skills like 'Barrage'' for instance need to be affected by wind?
If they did this I think some stuff could be affected while other stuff wouldnt be. Gunshots, for instance, are not likely to have such great distance that wind factors on them. Magic projectiles like pheonix would be unnafected too. Maybe an example of a skill thats affected by wind would be: Concussion shot If this large arrow strikes target foe is dazed for 10 seconds. This attack is affected by the wind. In all honesty, though, I wouldnt like to see wind factor into the gameplay very much. It would be kind of annoying to constantly have to look at some arrow or chart cluttering the screen to see what way the imaginary wind is blowing. Unless it was something related just to spells.. Gale Launch a wave of air at your target. Any particles that make contact with this fly out of control. Whirlwind Summon a small tornado that spins in the center of the battle. nearby particles are sucked in. |

Like the first idea will stop people jumping bwt randomly like bunny rabbits in pvp! meaning that if they want dodge an attack with a jump they will have time it right or come worse off. In pve will stop people jumping about in battles ruining peoples immersion in the game.
Second idea maybe. Third idea no! |
