I'd like to know its name as well, but blowing one whole question out of ten on just a name is a waste, imo. Assuming they are even willing to answer it. And if they aren't willing to answer, with a broader question about the deep sea dragon, they at least may have something else to offer about it. |

since it is going to be an open world in tyria, will there be a lot of invisible walls?
apart from the obvious places (e.g. steep mountain, edge of the world) but will we be able to climb over hills into new zones? or will there be boundaries between explorable areas, forcing players through a single exit to a new explorable area? |

And to those who keep asking for the name of the Deep Sea Dragon - chances are, that question won't be answered, given how Martin wasn't allowed to answer it for us before. They probably haven't released it for a reason.

75% of the animations in Guild Wars 1 were added just before Factions was released. I would surmise that most EPIC animations will be released after release of the game. Meanwhile you may just have placeholder effects in place.

Whether they've actually been here for as long as Tyria has existed or just longer than any contemporary civilisation is not a question that any in-game narrator can answer - and, if I was ANet, not a question I would answer in the affirmative (since that would cut off the possibility of something that existed before the dragons, although making the "next big threat" something that is "OMG Older Than The Dragons!!!!1111one" would be a bit repetitive and lame). It would seem easier to balance a game in which all skills are usable by players because creating player skills to counter "creature only" skills increases the opportunity for players to exploit such counters in PvP. Will monsters continue to have access to skills that players can not use, or have "creature only" skills been eliminated from the game?

Since they are said to have been here before the Six, there aren't really any beings who can attest to them not being on Tyria, so they have been there forever, as far as anyone is concerned.

1) Given that GW1 is based on CCG strategies rather than direct D&D RPG, it makes sense that it should offer more strategic and tactical play than "churn and grind" style D&D based MMOs. MAG is a modern example of how developers can give players control of strategic aspects of large scale PvP. Will players be able to make strategic plans in game akin to plays in Madden, so that coordinated assaults can be carried out precisely in the new events system?
2) Should we expect to see character animations comparable to Kratos in GoW3? The characters in the second trailer had some nice sprite effects; but, the most dynamic action was the depictions of the Charr Assassin vs the Devourers and the flaming blade attack executed by Rytlock Brimstone. Most of the other characters were standing and moving their arms, which is very functional -- and dull. Last edited by Brown Fang Thump; Mar 12, 2010 at 11:40 PM. Reason: added question |

JR, are you going to post the chosen questions once they are chosen, or are we going to have to wait till you get the answers?

He will post the answered questions only. It'll be like an interview.

In what languages will be Guild Wars 2 available?
In combat.... Could we dodge arrows and spells like in GW1? Outside combat... There are only the actions of jump and swim? The armors and the rest of items... Will we continue buying it in shops or there will be drop by mobs? What weight will have moral/ethics values and decisions making along the game both in pvp and pve? What innovative things, that we have not seen in other games like darkfall o WoW, will appear in GW2? How important is leveling up? How much and in what we can say that WG2 is an MMORPG and not an Multiplayer Masive Online Action Playing Game ? What estrategis respects fullfills professions? There will be mounts? Will offers every profession an unic and different experience of game, that only can be experimented using this profession? Have you explained of new every profession of different way and with a different function to GW1? Or there are just only recycled and adapted? Will have every race and profession a personality that it makes be more beloved or more hat by players? What impact will have victories and defeats of players in the game? Will it be possible play GW2 in a laptop? |

Reading over a lot of questions again, I'd like to add to my own wishlist any of the proposed questions about how much more character customization there might be (even if in a relative form, say compared to GW1 or a recent game).

I believe that because lore can produce far more speculation than game play mechanics can an interview of 25 questions containing 3-5 lore questions can keep the community satiated for a while. |

True, and I was going off of the idea of 10-15 questions in an interview, in which 1-2 questions would be fine, depending on how many interviews there are before release, of course.
