Actually I want many, like 10 weapons changing slots so I can wield all weapons on one character
!!! it would be fun. ie: use a gun long range, if a warrior thinks your just a tiny asura, and come up close, you stab them with a dagger. |

Each weapon will have it's niche. Swords were excellent for crippling and causing bleeding quickly and effectively. Axes were mainly for deep wound and Hammers for KD. Depending on what you are attempting to accomplish you choose weapons based on their list of skills.
Bows apply all conditions effectively minus deep wound and crack armor. It also allows for interupts, etc... very versitile. Same will go for Guns. Guns will have their area of the specturm. Guns maybe similar to bows minus possibly the interupt ability. It should be able to apply conditions that bows were not able to like Crack Armor and Deep Wound. I wouldn't expect it to be able to apply poison (even though that is still an option if they go that way). This way they keep it varied and keeps bows on the map and attractive for players to still use. Bows (in GW1) have an advantage over scepters and staffs. Bows have skills associated with them and can have a much larger range. Swords gave an advantage to casters over scepters because of the constant energy boost over scepters conditional boost. |

While on the subject, I really hope scythes, or something like them, aren't in GW2, although I wouldn't mind dervishes. ^^

A Guildie of mine went to PAX as well and managed to round up one of the devs for a few questions as well... most the info im sure you guys know but there was some other stuff i hadn't seen on here yet so yeah here it is. Apologies in advance if this is known.
Dwarves are still around but are very, very rare. There are no flesh and blood dwarves left. Only stone. And that means they are all a little bit unbalanced in the head. Areas are more fully explorable. One thing that people may have not picked up on from the GW2 video is just how much freedom a player has. That means the cities have buildings that a player can enter and exit. It was pointed out to me on the human city that a good number of those buildings can be entered. The scene from the damn with all those wooden bulwarks? fully explorable. All those ships that are stacked on top of each other? You can enter them. The snow-capped mountains? You can climb them. Those huge Norn lodges? You can go in them. The city with all those spinning gears and smokestacks? That's a charr city and you can enter a good number of buildings. I think you get the idea. Cheers NFi |

There is male Sylvari concept art. The image was scanned from the art book, so we aren't allowed to post the images or link to them, as the images are infringing on ANet's copyright.

I'll be really sad, if the Dwarves won't survive. I had some hope that they'll be an unconfirmed playable race in GW2 (or in another expansion), but now... Quote:

Unless the filename was literally 'autumn_male_sylvari.jpg' I would be wary of that much speculation.
