Eh sadly I don't think so. It's only exciting and seems like it because we're getting all this information and such.

I refuse to believe that Anet would build up hype if the game were to come out longer than a year from now.

Or, you know, they felt they kinda had to show something after almost 2,5 years of nothing.

Well, I can only see one reason why they would want to lose 3/4 of their PvE playerbase

Twitter updates coming in thick and fast from the Artist panel. I'm keeping the first post updated while Inde puts her fingers in a bucket of ice.

Goodness! Thanks for the efforts.

Especially for bringing this nugget to light:
Live Team have long list of projects to last thru end of year, but want to create more PvE content + explore lore next year. ~DC #GuildWars

"Soon" in MMO devleoper speak could be any time between tomorrow and January.

Very cool info, wasn't exactly what I was hoping but every tid bit of lore information is than enough to keep me happy.

Later on I asked why start the rampup of information on GW2 now, given Aion is coming out, and Jeff said that the next convention cycle in March would be too late to start.
If nobody asked already, what does this mean? That they're going to start sharing more stuff with us soon, right?

Kodan Bears? I'm all for that. From all of this information, looks like there will be sub categories for all of the newer races.I'm finally interested in Sylvari's now because of this interest twist to their race:

Seasons (speculation) -

Spring (Monk & Ritualist & Ranger)
Summer (Elementalist & Warrior & Paragon)
Autumn (Mesmer & Assassin)
Winter (Necromancer & Dervish)

Instead of the professions being divided among the seasons, I think the ability of a Sylvari will be determined by the season.

A Norn can most likely choose from different forms, an Asura could possibly choose from different golems, and the Sylvari could choose from the seasons.
