I love the concept of guns!

what I want to see is a sword thats so much like a regular sword but the skills for it can use it as a gun, a sword gun :P
Final fantasy I know, get over it!

I love the sythes and kama, and the pistol with a giant blade on it...

Final Fantasy didn't invent gunblades/swords.

BTW I thought guns doesnt fit into GW untill asuras cames to image. After all their "golems" and stuff i dont really think that guns will spoil anything at this point.

They look nice but i'm not 100% convinced i'd like them in game... I'm just not a gun nut I guess hehe!

Really like the design of the last one though so I could be swayed!

well i didnt think guns go with guild wars but seeing some of the concept art here shows that actually it wont be a case of get a bazooka and boom. the guns look good and blend into the gw weapon branch well.
however i still think gw is better off without them.

I hope firearms will function similar to Final Fantasy 12's firearm system. Armor penetration would be expected but could become overpowered if not handled carefully though.

I think it would be cool to be a mage with a gunblade type of dagger. and a wand or whatever. With the statement that armors will not be class specific anymore and I believe weapons will be the same I think it will be interesting to see the combinations and variety that comes about from it. Though just cause they are guns dosen't mean it's for everyone. League fo Extrodinary Gentleman: "Pull your pistol." Captian Nemo says "I follow a different path." pulls out sword and beats baddie down with sword and feet. GW2 people will be able to have their own style I think.

hmm i just had a thought...i wander if guns will be limited to shooting only bullets? would be cool if they could shoot other things...like say...something along the lines of this picture

lol ok...maybe slightly impractical...and probably very overpowered... but im sure they could do something close to it, especially the asurans.

I like the fishie and asura ones best. I'm hoping we have lots of storage because I know I'm going to be packratting a lot of weapons for collections.
