The top one reminds me of the Orrian armours the Undead in Kryta wears.

The second looks like it has a city of some sort in the distance. Looks awesome. Thanks for posting it.

Is this really GW2? I can't help but wonder if it has something to do with Kaineng City/Cantha. If that is the subject of the artwork, then it honestly surprised me.

That said, what you see in concept art doesn't always make it into the game... at least not exactly.

The second piece is a selection for this year's Into the Pixel exhibition. It also earned the Master Award in Expose 7. It's an exploratory piece that was less concerned with the Guild Wars setting but rather scale and energy of the environment.

Apparently I can't upload to the gallery without breaking everything. When Inde wakes up I'll nudge her to put them on there.

Good find Shew!

I really wouldn't read a lot into the content of that piece.

Try to save that concept art. It'll clearly state "DredgeCaves_full".

NeHoMar probably thought it was for players since it's name is 'character_concept_design_evil', but ahh well,... Not all characters are players, NeHoMar ;o.

Missing quote. Heheeee. Doesn't do nesting I presume.

But yes, that does make more sense. It didn't look like GW, at least not the era in which it is set.

Hey I saw one asuran cube in the middle of a jungle near a waterfall done by Dociu I wish I could find that piece of art again.
It was in a forum and I cant find it again anymore so it would be awesome if someone could bring that here.

The picture with the skyscrappers (and what appears to be somebody using a blue arc welder) has been up for a while (at least 2 months). Good to hear that it...

That explains and alieves a lot of questions that had been going around relating to that picture.

Nah, you can also get primeval armor in GW which seems pretty evil, but it doesn't make you evil anyways. Maybe it just looks evil.
