I love how they use Mesoamerican influeance in their art, The Asura temples are almost replicas of many of the Mayan temples in southern Mexico. That second pic of the two temples connected looks a lot like the Temple of the Niches in El Tajin. Look and see http://www.delange.org/ElTajin/ElTajin.htm I like how A-net uses past clutures for their inspration on buildings.

Aren't the first two pieces from Utopia though? I mean, I pretty much tried to get a look at any of the art they made for that, and I'm fairly positive that those were in that pile...

note: it does not say GW2, but it is copyrighted by ANet, and I don't remember being able to dual wield two different weapons ![]() the next-to-last set of armor to the right in the next image is in a GW2 render, so I bet this is GW2 concept art EDIT: This one is GW:EN concept art.

That second piece from Shew is EN design. Half of those are models in EN as well (even the second to last on the right side

Nice find, Whisper! I see some potential GW2 concept arts there (the very first is in the Art Book): the battlefield themed, the forest, the whitish art is the background of guildwars2.com and the very last one with the two soldiers seems to be Guild Wars 2 art as well.
Pretty decent interview and work of arts, by the way. |
