I know I might seem a bit odd on priorities of what I want to see in places of interest but I really want to return to this place.

I mostly disliked it because of the gloomy bogs in that region. Makes me wonder exactly how much Krytas fauna and nature will have changed with the years?

I've always wondered what this place is.

My theory has always been this is where King Doric gave his blood to seal the blood stones and the 4 area's of magic Preservation, Destruction, Aggression and Denial, which would explain the 4 columns of stone. That being said there is admittedly no evidence of my theory.

It's also a representation of the best aspect of Prophecies compared to the three other area's ANet released. It represents the freedom to just explore and an ability to get lost within the confines of the game.

Perhaps that's what I'm truly looking for in GW2. An ability to just get lost within the environment.

King Doric went to Arah, in Orr. We have no information on what those runic structures are, sadly. However, people have believed that spot to be where the Wizard's Tower was before floating - and it does have similarities to the tower in Wizard's Folly - that is, there are the same kind of wood (?) in a similar shape - but without the runes - in the spot.

But yes, the ability to get lost in the world and find something interesting is a lovely aspect of Prophecies. There are so many mysteries in Prophecies which never got answered.

Mordakai, Possibly add the new ingame renderings from the art update page in the general discussion to this thread?

Sadly there is no mention where the Blood stones were made either, or where he ended up giving his blood to seal the stones. Only that he went to Orr to plead his case nothing more. Anything else on where the sealing and breaking of the stones is pure speculation on your part. I never said that the 4 columns of stone IS where the event took place only that it is possible since the stones seem to have some kind of significance since the location is between the temple of ages and Majesties Rest.

Do note that I never said anything about where the sealing and breaking occurred. However, it would be pure logic of observation that it occurred on the Ring of Fire, as the Bloodstones appear to made out of similar material as what is found elsewhere on the Ring of Fire Island Chain - which is what the Mursaat Material seems to be made out of as well. Though this is speculation on my part. And it would seem silly to have the sealing/breaking in Kryta just because the spot seems "to have some kind of significance since the location is between the temple of ages and Majesties' Rest" (by the way, how does that put any kind of significance?), instead of somewhere closer to the start and finish of the actions (Doric pleading to the gods dumping the bloodstones into the volcano).

This one looks like Divinity's reach? Just captured from the diferent angle. Maybe you can add that to the first page as a possible picture of Divinity's? What you think?
