Hmm. So it seems half of Guild Wars will be exploring things underwater. Which means there will probably be main quest missions tied into it. That's pretty cool, first time a game sorta did something like that.

No quests? Why wouldn't they have quests? I thought quests are what makes MMORPGS!

From that Eurogamer Interview, it makes it out as though the event system is going to replace traditional "Quest marker above that guys head!". Though it sounds like just a (welcome) change to how quests are delivered.

Underwater exploration is interesting me alot.

Good find. Wondering how Anet can make underwater exploring interesting. In most games I've played, you'd rather not go into the water because of the horrible controls.

Oh. Well that's not bad then, as long as there is something to do besides advanced the story and farm things.

Then again, maybe that's why the put in the underwater exploration. Speaking of that, he said it's half of the explorable area of GW 2, so does that mean they are actually done creating the zones/areas?

I see what they mean when they said GW2 will be Ambitious.

Well yeah, but not all quests. The event system could be considered a type of quest system, and it probably won't be boring, it all depends on how you create them.

Well yeah I know none of us will know, but that question was for you to guess at!

Oh, they do love to tease.

Seeing Charr swimming is probably going to be hilarious. I wonder if the fur/armour will remain wet for a while after you leave the water...

It's pretty neat that they are finally able to incorporate what they wanted to in the original Guild Wars. I suppose you could say the Jade Sea was a compromise of underwater areas because of the limit of the engine they had.
