Princess Bride - 9001/10

Might have seen it several times before, but it is the last thing I've seen.

I enjoyed watching it but a few things bugged me about it (not a fan of the red matter). It just didn't blow me away, though I did like some of the banter in it.

Inconceivable!

I saw ponyo last night just before it left the theaters. It's difficult to rate. At some points the hand drawn visuals looked very nice. At others (the phil spector looking antagonist) it didn't. Ghibli scrapped their computer dept. altogether so it looks like it might take them a movie or two to adapt. The acting was nice overall but it loses points for using a cyrus and a jonas. The story was nice though so I'd suggest seeing it when it comes out on DVD.

The reaction from people who saw Watchmen is great. It's like an IQ test. Everybody I know who is smart loved that movie. Everybody who is dumb goes "not enough explosions/action." Unfortunately, the movie is rated pretty low... because... well http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...ewersAreMorons

Why did you guys like District 9 so much?

I was hoping for some epic human vs praun fights but nope.

Just gay drama.

Oh btw, I bet 100 bux that the sequel comes out 3 years from the time the 1st one came out.

Flight 93 was on last night. I don't know how accurate it is but it certainly moved me enough to stop being a conspiracist and start wanting bin Laden's head on a spear.

The Pionist 8.2/10

World War II movie. really cool movie, with some new view of the war. Towards the end it also reminds me of Fallout 3, the way he lives and all that, but I really enjoyed this movie. If you like World War II history this is something for you

I'll do that when I can get around to learning japanese. I generally watch my anime dubbed, espically if Hillary Haag or Monica Rial are doing the voices.

My god, the last movie I saw was months ago and in a Cinema Art class. I believe it was Citizen Kane. I'll give it an 8/10 because I didn't fall asleep.

I don't even think I finished watching it. Totally agree that it was visually pleasing but almost put me to sleep.
