Anyone play these? I've been playing both in my spare time, and while I'm still getting used to having a normal sized screen ( squinting at a laptop for 2 years makes me wonder what all this extra stuff on the sides is ) I don't think I'm THAT bad at either of them, and can generally play a mean Scout if given the chance.

Yeah, been playing TF2 since early '08. Great game and had lots of replay value (for me atleast.) Unfortunatly playing NOTHING but TF2 for the past 2 years has really burned me out on the game. I finally decided to stop playing and buy an EVE subscription. Mainly for disappointment with the demoman update but also burn out.

I love TF2 <3 Its my subgame. The kind of game I play when Im bored of my main game(usually MMOs,but now HoN).

TF2 is awesome,it isn't as serious as other FPS. You dont have a ranking, you dont get pissed if you loose. I just join a game and have fun =)

couldn't stand Team Fortress. such a terrible game. never bothered with TF2...I've heard good things about it though.

Nobody bothered to take TF seriously, it was like a joke version of other FPS games. Never could get into it. Might have a lot to do with my membership in CAL at the time, maybe I just didn't have time to play it casually. I'll definitely look into giving TF2 a chance in the near future

I play TF2 so much that I had to reset my stats a week or two ago to feel less like some sort of crack addict.

Current stats, wooo.

Nobody playing L4D2?
I play it quite a bit... pubgames are usually crap, at least when it comes to Versus. The L4D community is the second worst community... HoN and DotA apparently have worse communitues
If anybody wants to play... pm me

Why play L4D2? It's the same thing as 1 just with maps with sun shining above you and some melee weapons.

Now TF2 is another story. The game is awesome but lately I don't have time to play it. All my skill with playing sniper is gone now I suppose.

Didn't care much for L4D on account of running zombies.

Play both. Though some here can confirm I suck at L4D2. I find it hard to really commit to it though as I need to set aside a chunk of time.

TF2 is another story. I love just hopping in and out for say 20-30 minutes. Blowing up some people than going back to my day. Usually play Soldier on TF2.

PS3 TF2 has

Also the whole "no updates ever so Engineers can build Sentries under the map and teleport people behind fences they can't get around" thing is also a huge turn-off.

Yeah but but the Orange Box costed me 15€ so I figured Portal alone was worth it. As for HL2 I don't know why it is so popular. Seems to me it is the same mediocracy as Halo. Besides I have had more fun in Battlefield BC2 then TF2 so I don't bother much with it.

Largely because of the Physics Engine and actual Story, when it came out that was completely unheard of, so for alot of people HL2 was kind of like a "whoa, FPS's can do that?!" Neat" type of game.

And because Half-Life was a nice game. A lot better than HL2 in fact.

I dunno about that. I thought that Half-Life was pretty damn boring and monotone back when I first played it even if it technologically was impressive.

You're not the only one. I'm not much of a Half Life fan either.

I liked it and I still remember final battle and ending. What I can agree with is that riding this stupid train at the begining is way too long and boring

Blasphemy. It was the heart felt intro. I have the same feelings about that sequence as I did pre-searing.
