Speaking of housing, EQ2 had some interesting player housing. You could buy all sorts of furniture, carpeting, different wall materials, as well as get paintings, tapestries, mob heads to display on walls, and other ornaments from achieving certain things. You would also have reason to go into someone else's house, because you could trade with their broker auctions without paying the broker fee.

Whan can i say except BIG NO to anything that will make GW2 more standart mmo-like.
People from other mmos should stay in their kind of games - there are oodles of them and there is ONLY ONE kind of GW. I want to get in GW2 what i had in GW1 - no crafting professions, no imbalanced armor/weapons depending on rearity, no lame food and potions, no PK which is the lamest excuse for a PvP system, no astronomical lvl cap and mandatory grinding without any kind of storyline/plot/cinematic presentations. In 2 words - DO NOT break GW2 - it should be like GW1 with some improvements which definetely doesn't mean "make it like other mmos cause i'm bored of WoW". Now WvsW sounds like a zerg fest to me. I don't know much about it though i'm kind of disappointed with the little info i know...i though it would be something like a big AB but i'm guessing even number of players is definetely not the purpose of it. |

1.Customization
2.PvE to work seperately from PvP so the PvE experience isnt a small level capped experience where after capping all you do is quest after quest for no reason. 3.Better Guild support outside of pvp |

want team damage.. aoe to effect both monsters and players
like if I see a guy soloing a hecket.. and I cast meteor shower on that hecket and follow with a frozen burst up close.. they both get the kd, damage, and frozen effect that would apply to my characters too though- minus the frozen effect so I can run away out of the shower |

Fun, Skill Based, PvP that requires players to actually out think, out maneuver, and out play their competition to victory rather than just smashing your face against the keyboard when your caller counts down from 3.
A PvP community relations person who cares about improving the community and works his/her ass off to make sure our voices are being heard and we get the changes we mostly agree are necessary to improve the game. Skill updates/balancing that is done correctly and not digging holes and then filling them up again. An easier transition for players new to PvP to get into the game if they have the desire to. Something like tiered tournaments similar to the guru tourny where it has different levels, allowing lower guilds to participate in tournaments but not have to worry about getting stomped by the established guilds time in and time out. No /rank emotes so that people will play because they actually enjoy the format, not because they want some shiny reward not available anywhere else in the game. |

Balance, balance and again balance!
If they manage to get the skill system right in the beginning, they won't have to make drastic changes later - win! Ofc minor balancing will never stop. Other than that.. hmm.. better skins for wands, focuses and staffs! Because in gw1 most of them look lame. If i'm an air ele, i want my stick to glow like it has been struck by Zeus himself and shoot furious lightning bolts around like its overloaded to hell while the earth trembles and the skyes darken wherever i show my presence!! ... you know.. just make them more exciting. And I want to play little minigames (like tic-tac-toe) with my guildies in guild halls while we wait for gvg. Some people really take their time.. |

Dis roight here To add on to that - LESS SKILLS! The more you have to balance, the less you can balance. I'd rather have 8 equally functional builds spread over 40 skills than 16 functional builds spread over 200 skills. Also: I'd like PvE to rely on NOT TANKING. Come on Anet, you're my last hope! Dragon Age went the tanking route, not you too!!! Last edited by Bryant Again; Mar 12, 2010 at 07:02 PM. |

Thats just sad.
Why must people always make this a competition between WoW? Personaly I'd like more emphasis on mini games, and a more involving story line. A good immersive story that shows signs of real character development would be great. I want to really hate pridormus when i'm out there trying to kill him, I want to baww like a b*tch when some important ally dies. If they can combine that with the persistant world and other awesome features of an MMO - we'd have a really unique and awesome game. |

This is really storage with a more robust and advanced UI. Where gold is piled high in the basement vault, Trophies are displayed artfully along the castle wall, the more trophies stacked in one location, the larger the trophy appears. Every item having a context/properties menu. Player created content. Invite over friends for a swim in the mote. Have a hot tub party in the Cauldron of Cataclysm you acquired from the Charr during a conquest. Have babies with lusty wenches and valiant conquerors. Screw the Sims we can do better. . . |
