Guild Missions seems interesting and could be good in devoleping tyria. A little worried for smaller guilds being swallowed up now by the giant guilds but should still be interesting.
Expanding daily's should make them alot more fun and tailored to the individual.
As always its all in the implementation and not in words that makes it good or not, if the implementation of the new systems of gameplay sucks then it will not be good for the game at all.
Here's hoping they get it right first time

Some really good stuff in that interview. Wish they would do more video's with this stuff.

That reminds me of the 3-hero limit in GW1. Sure, having 3 heroes in your party was better than being forced to run hench, but a full hero party was just better.
The same way, a waypoint discount is good, but simply removing the fee completely is better.
As noted before, I like the idea of allowing players to choose their daily, but I seriously hope that they take a second glance at the slightly more "core" achievements - the current selection of dailies already includes a few that simply can not be considered as ones that everyone could complete. So I seriously hope we get a few additional VERY generic ones on top of the more time/location specific ones.

He said that the guild missions are started by a guild (probably costs influence), but everyone can participate in some form and get a reward from it. They're basically guild-triggered events or event chains how I understand it.
I'm with Eon there, sounds good but depends on the implementation.
Players without a guild are throwing away free stuff (influence rewards). That's of course their choice.

Yeah can't really say until the update comes out but from what we know so far people who don't want to be in guilds are probably out of luck when it comes to the new "guild missions" rewards, as they said they will get some kind of reward for participation and there will be personal rewards but those not even in a guild will probably not be able to get the higher or guild specific rewards from this type of guild mission system.
It does seem lately Arena Net is pushing out pugs and single players to push them towards more organised groups and organised gameplay or guilds, they don't seem to want pugs and solo players running the higher end content 24/7 anymore. That's just me guessing from observations of what they changed lately in the game.
What it does show me though is Anet is trying to address the lack of guild functions and social mechanics in GW2 which could mean, I really am speculating now

If you do 5 things you get reward, but if you do 9 you get bonus reward.....please, please, please 2 laurel`s !!!!

Looks to me like he's being careful to say that it's not going to be a bonus reward. If you include something like another laurel, you're making it hard not to do the entire thing, and the whole point of having a choice of items on the list is greatly diminished. He says achievement points for just that reason. Do 5/9, get a reward, do 9/9 and get achievement points.
Like the HoM. Goodies up to a point, after that it's bragging rights.

Still can't queue with a friend in PVP, this patch is stupid.
Go into a party with your friend.
Have one of you join a PVP match that isn't full.
Have the other right click their portrait and click the option to join them in PVP.

Wow that's quite the Nonsequitur
...and that's without even considering the inflation rate which is just as bad as our REAL economy...
