I'd be okay with the new town clothes if we actually got new skins. I'm still mad about that witches outfit being only town clothes. :/ damn town clothes.

Fair enough. I think the only counter-townclothes sentiment I can agree on is that we can't wear them in combat. One of my guildies will almost never leave town on her elementalist because the mad king garb completes her hehe.

I'm very happy they just added these, no big deal, no announcement or anything. The store could really use some small extra stuff like town clothes and it sets a great tone that they are willing to just throw them in there out of the blue as extra stuff.

Also, going outside and fighting is so tacky. Staying in to chat > doing whatever you do outside.

Could also be that ANet is screwing themselves once again because they only listen to demographic data instead of players (a player equipped his town clothes for 3 and a half seconds by accident that must mean he loves them! More town clothes stat!)

My question is why the hell does ArenaNet insist on making town clothes instead of making some new armor skins. Do they really think that the vast majority of players give a crap about them? Armor skins would sell 12,000x better yet... no new armor skins for months now, what is going on?

Come on that's not really the armor skins I'm talking about =/ You know as well as if they released new good looking full blown armor sets they'd sell like crazy

Which brings up the question why you can't apply these new skins to existing armor.
