Rerroll recently started an interesting survey on the official forums trying to gather player opinions on a wide array of hot topics. Some of these are already showing some interesting trends, would you agree warrior is the weakest profession in the game? Or perhaps that Elementalist is the strongest profession?
If you do not then you are one of the few! Slightly over 50% of the people who replied to the survey would agree to the above statement. The survey brings up a lot of interesting things but if we really want to use this survey for something useful we will need a lot more replies. Head over there and throw in your answers:

As I don't PvP, I won't participate in it. Though in WvW, I can handle myself fairly well against multiple enemies, and Warrior are great against zergs when it comes to defending your keep with your Keep Lord. TW + HB/WW will make that zerg hurt always.

This ^, the people saying warriors are weak obviously have no idea how to use them properly.
Warriors are offensive killing machines & are really quite balanced.
The only area they are in any way weak is consistent condition removal. Even then thieves & rangers have it worse.
If they do end up increasing warriors ability to counter conditions they will probably end up having to reduce their offensive capabilities in some way otherwise they will become the obvious go to class for PVP & PVE.

I won't deny warriors have their share of problems but every class does.
If they end up making said weaknesses too small then they will need to nerf them in some way to maintain some balance.
Or in simple terms if they increase their ability to negate conditions then they need to reduce damage scaling to compensate.

I also find it amusing that the Engineer is voted second weakest, when IMO its one of the stronger ones. Perma swiftness+vigor in combat ftw, you can bounce around more than a Thief.

Until Anet releases meaningful data from actual competitions, this is all just so much BS.
Why is it so hard to Anet to show a leader board that tallies the win/loss counts by class?

They have their problems, but I wouldn't go so far as to say underpowered. This is because all their problems can be easily solved by rolling with an ally who makes up for your weaknesses as you make up for his.
For instance, warriors have problems with consistent condition removal & defensive ally support but bring large amounts of damage & or control depending on their set up.
Guardians on the other hand bring a ton of survivability/support & group condition removal skills but they fall behind warriors when it comes to damage.
Neither one has everything on their own but put them together as a team & they will roll right over most enemies.
On the flip side if Anet gives warriors much more condition removal or defensive ally support they will have to nerf damage output or control to compensate which would make them too much like guardians & if they didn't do a nerf they would end up with a class that is too powerful.

Until we see actual date from arena.net all this talk of "Who is weaker" is all speculative BS based off of poples opinions & could be coming from terrible players for all we know since absolutely anyone can fill out that form.

I agree that Warriors shouldn't have everything, but conditions are the least of their problems. The reason Warriors are the best in PvE and WvW but the worst in sPvP is because of the conquest-centered PvP meta. Right now, roamers/bursters and bunkers are the 2 ways to roll because of the focus on point control. Warriors are outbunkered by Eles and Guards, and are out-damaged/roamered by Thieves. This is not a problem exclusive to Warriors. Engies, Necros, and Rangers are also outclassed in many ways, but Warriors have it the worst. And of course, us Mesmers can do it all (I've been expecting to get nerfed for a while now). I don't want Warriors to turn into Mesmers, but I would like them to have something unique to bring to the table.

It really doesn't take that much effort to find out. You can roll a char of any class, just get it to lvl 2 and then play sPvP. I made an alt of each class and played them all quite a bit (bought some char slots for it - Best way to learn to fight any class is to play that class and discover its weakness from its perspective). Warrior is by far the weakest class in sPvP; the more organized the team you play against, the worse it gets.
Eng is the only other class that is also low tier. Mes/Guard/Ele/Thief are top tier and always viable. Ranger/Necro are more niche and have a more focused role, but still playable. Warrior is completely useless, and engie is just a worse version of either a guardian or ranger depending on your build.
