Welcome to Guild Wars 2 Guru on IP.Board!

The first time you login to the new Guild Wars 2 Guru, you will need to migrate your old account and link it to a Curse.com account. Follow the steps below to get set up for the first time.

1. Click the "Sign In" button on the site header.
2. You will be presented with a page asking you to login with either the email or username associated with your Curse.com account OR the email or username associated with your Guild Wars 2 Guru account. After entering either of these details, click "login".
3. From here, the steps will vary based on the situation you are in. Follow the step that matches your account situation:

If you have only a Curse account: Choose a Guild Wars 2 Guru display name on this page, then click "create account."
If you have only a Guru account: Enter the necessary details to register a new Curse.com account on this page, then click "create account."
If you have accounts on both sites:
  • And the email associated with your Guru account is the same as your Curse account: Enter your Curse.com account details on this page, then click "login." This will link the accounts.
  • And the email associated with your Guru account is different than your Curse account: On this page, find the text that says "Already have an existing Curse account? Login." This text is beneath the "Confirm password" box and above the "Create Account" button. Click the "login" text to be taken to a page where you may enter your Curse.com account details, linking the Guru account and Curse account.
4. Now you should be logged in and good to go!
5. When logging in in the future, you will need to use your Curse.com login details, though your display name will be whatever you chose when creating your original Guru account or in step 3.

Any bugs on this forum should be reported on this thread.

This design reminds me of every Zynga forum - disgusting, but great for the 12 year olds that play their games.

Love the new look, though I will admit I was attached to the old look and will miss it.
What does the kyrtan text say in the back?

Ads blocking the post window? Now that's just pathetic.

Ugh. Should have stayed with vBulletin. Fast, reliable, easier to read on. This new software is... Ugh.

EDIT 1: And the frequent too-busy pages are very annoying.

EDIT 2: And only being able to see two messages at most (even when they are one-liners)  on my 1280x800 screen is, frankly, unacceptable. Since there is, of course, no chance of reverting to vBulletin, I see no point in coming back here.

In the ten minutes I've been here after migrating my account, there have been two busy signals and an overall loss of functionality and usability. Why would anyone choose the curse network forums?

Not sure why you tried to copy the garish color scheme of the official forums. One less advantage to coming here.

Hey, that's not fair. :/ It was said that I will be able to transfer my nick to Curse account and now I can not do it because, it says, it is taken? how? why?

I am registered on Guild Wars 2 Guru since it's start and I am Guild Wars Guru very long time user (since 2005) - I have the same nick on both forums - and now what? That is NOT fair! Please do something to let me continue use my name.

i do not understand the 'server' part...there were only 4 choices...i am not part of 'Anvil Rock' nor any of the other choices...also, it would not accept my name, yet here it is...and the 'change display name' function does not seem to work...anyone have any info on these?

In the old layout, the forum would spread horizontally at high resolutions so there would be no empty space. Now, more than one third of my screen is taken by the background. The former layout was better in that aspect.

Same issue. Is there no way to configure this?

that's what came to mind when I saw the look too, the color scheme isn't helping any either.
