Rejoice! Were you spending the last week and a half sobbing uncontrollably in a corner because you so dearly missed the first Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Event? Well, it looks like it's time to come back for more a bit earlier than you might have expected. This Monday, May 14th, everyone who has pre-purchased Guild Wars 2 will be able to participate in a surprise stress test for the game from 11AM-6PM (-7 GMT). And for those of you who want one more chance to screenshot your human, norn, or charr from the last beta test, you're in luck! Existing characters will be completely playable during this exciting window of opportunity. There is also no need to download any sort of new client either. The one used for the last test in April will be made available again (so don't delete it!).

It sounds like we'll get to use previously created characters as well, which I had been convinced would be wiped. Though no word if they will be wiped for the next BWE.Still, I'm excited, even if it is just a stress stress for just a few hours. I get to play!

If I had to guess I'd say they are going to allow us to keep our beta characters up until release, I see no reason for them to make us replay the starting areas to the point that we get sick of it and it ruins release for us.

YYYYYYEEEEEESSSSSSSSS! I missed the BWE weekend on Apr 27th cause I was out of the country. I'm so stoked for Monday to get here and anyone who works hates the hell out of Monday!

sweet baby jesus!  Monday is a normal day off for me.  Hopefully I can get into WvW this time (Sorrow's Furnace server was full on that map).

there will be performance issue during the test...and i hoped ANet can come up with a solution on how to deal with cpu-bound problems after the stress test :)

btw,if i already have the client from previous BWE, do i still need to download new client for the stress test??

at first I was  all "oh bummer, I'm at work," but I'm tired and forgot the time diff.  That's 1 pm to 8 pm for me so I can login for two hours or so.  Say 'hi' to a couple npc I made friends with the other weekend and such. :)

I'm looking forward to it!  I wonder how much better it will run with the new tweaks.  Either way, it will be nice to get back in, experience a bit of Tyria again, and be able to help them improve a little bit.
