Since there are no official patch notes to go by, GuildSource has created a video on patch changes from the last Beta Weekend Event (BWE).

I made this video for you guys! I saw NO good patch notes videos for BWE2, so I made one after having spent about HALF the beta weekend finding the changes.

Let me know what you think! Rip me a new one if you have to. No promise that I won't Ride the Lightning away :D

That's awesome, thanks for posting the video :)  I like the format of your stuff, I think this is the first GW2 video I've seen doing it this way.  Looking forward to seeing how it evolves.

We did an article on all the raw skill changes from our gw2 database site, which goes into some of the more technical changes here, but you obviously that doesn't tell the whole story for many of the other tweaks! :D

Interesting about the PvP tournament tokens for gems, does anyone know how many other ways they can be obtained?

Very informative video, loved it. I just have one very minor problem with the music. It makes me really sleepy, and feels really distracting. It sounds like the kind of music that people play when they put you on hold. Suggestions, might be to remove the music completely or play some GW2 or GW1 music, or other "adventurous" sounding tracks. I find what works really well is removing the music completely and adding slightly more enthusiasm or tone.

lovely show ^^ first time I heared about these pay tournaments..Would be pretty sweet if you could convert your glory to real cash somehow and have gw2 as job =D Just let me hold the thought a little bit longer..sweeet :lol:

The animal thing is a holdover from GW1, which gave you emotes that you could display based on your pvp rank-- rabbit, deer, etc.

Since you said I could, come on...... for those of us with a 50kb/s internet connection, just have a text version of the entire patch notes in a Spoiler. I really do not want to load an entire over 7 minute video which will take more than 30 minutes for me just to see BWE 2 patch notes. If you really want to be a high quality profession Guild Wars 2 Source of information, you need to take all kinds of people into account. (Also a good Avatar would help....)

They addressed the more interesting changes. It's for those who don't want to go through a 500-line long leaked patch note to grasp what are the most significant ones. I found it to be pretty interesting, and I didn't know about the differences between gold, silver and copper chests. It does seem that those chests give defined sets and not entirely random ones. There might be a common, uncommon, rare and exotic armor set per rank. I got various bandit parts for rank 1 and many sons of Svanir for rank 2, for example.

I agree, especially since the host is moderately annoying. Also, at least half the video was common knowledge, but still nice to have everything in one place. To sum it up, UI and chat changes, skill/trait tiers, and a few things about PVP rankings/tournaments.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by this video. Very nicely done. :) As for the PvP armour point you mentioned between characters. It is shared via the PvP lockers in the Mists which are account wide. :)

I'm definitely playing around with the idea. I naturally want some music because I think it feels empty with out, but I know how so many videos find it distracting. I like the adventurous music idea, it's just overdone in alot of videos XD I need to find some stuff that's not overused.

Great video, one tidbit of off information.

You cannot mail between your alts, though you do have a shared bank. Though again, if you put a bound item in the shared bank, your alts cannot take it out.
