Arenanet has just announced a upcoming stress test for their servers. You will be able to play this coming Wednesday, June 27th. Below is the press release.

We were very pleased with how our servers performed during our second Beta Weekend Event, but we want to gather additional data on how they operate under load before the next one.
That’s where you come in.
All players who have pre-purchased Guild Wars 2 are invited to participate in our upcoming stress test. This four-hour test event will run on Wednesday, June 27th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. PDT (GMT-7).
We won’t wipe characters for this event, so if you played in our previous betas, you can pick up right where you left off. All we need you to do is log in and have fun—leave the stress to us!

Europe was able to play in the previous events, too, but you would have to be up late and early.

Would totally ask for the afternoon off, but I already have a meeting scheduled.
Oh well, at least this makes me hope that we'll get BWE3 July 6-8.

-10 AM (-7, West America)
-11 AM (-6, East Coast America)
-5 PM (United Kingdom)
-6 PM (Mainland Europe)
-1 Am, Thrusday (Mainland Asia/Central Russia)
Pretty sure it would be 1pm East Coast America...

I'll be at work during this whole test.
And it's only for 4 hours?
I wish they would do several tests throughout the day so everyone got a chance to play.

No worries, glad to help.
Just curious as to what needs to be "stressed". I figured this would be behind us with the new hardware additions prior to BWE2. I'm glad they are taking precautions though I suppose. Was hoping for an earlier BWE3 though.
