Arenanet have just announced (via their notice on the official forums) that the Beta Weekend Event Finale is taking place in Metrica province (The Asura starting zone) at 11pm PDT

To find out what that is in your timezone, click here and convert it.

A quick run down of the common time zones:

11pm PDT (American Pacific)
2am EDT (American Eastern)
6am GMT (What timezone is GMT right now?)
7am BST (UK timezone, British Summer Time)
8am CET (Central European time)

For all other timezones, check the above link and convert it to your local time.

I predict golem anarchy..

If its like the other finale's it'll be zone wide, and it's worth getting there early. Don't forget to take all the screenshots you want to before launch(such as character creator sliders, build and traits and armor shots etc) before the event.

Dang, It just so happens to be in the 2 zones that epically crash my pc. Aura and Sylvari zones Both crash my pc.

It may be your GPU or then. When I was warping to Rata Sum and LA, my game crashed. I logged back and in and it worked. Turned down settings just to be safe then turned them back up after.

(I think you mean 2am EDT (Eastern Daylight Time), it'd be 1am EST (Eastern Standard Time) but I don't think anyone's using EST right now since it's the summer.)

This is my first beta final, so Im not to sure how it works...Ive managed to make it to the Asura starting area on my human, i assume once it starts there will be a pop up saying where to go?

almost two and a half days of gaming... but I have survived! Looking forward to the final event, looking forward to my comfy bed :)

By far and away 2nd one was better. Players that started late to this one were subject to overflow severs, which forced them to run long distances (resulted in dying w/o confrontation) in attempts to find...well anything. Ended up just logging off b/c there was nothing interesting to do.

That wasn't the best way to end my first beta weekend. I decided to go on my other characters and look at armor. Wonder what the 2nd weekend's event was.

AHHHHHGGGHH So irritating! I was one of the last few remaining survivors of the red team, and all the enemy robots swarmed around me so absolutely none of my bullets could go through to hit opponents!

I would've been the sole survivor had not the robots trolled me to death :(

Awesome event though!

I actually really liked it! I was the 3th one to survive on my group, died due to hunger. :(

Loved it. New, interesting, funny (lol troll robots), a nice one-shot event to remember.
