Earlier in the development of Guild Wars 2 we released our MMO Manifesto video, a high-level look at the philosophy behind the design of the game. As we approach the launch date, now is the perfect time to talk about the outcome of that design philosophy with a look at the core ideas that the game is built on: personal story, dynamic events, combat, and PvP.

Ebonhawk in the first video

Ebonhakwe was accesible for a few moments during BWE1, but when I got in, I was kicked out of the client for "faulty geographical move." The gate that led to it was immediatly blocked.

Yet there is nothing new on these vids, would love to see some more PvE content, as in dungeons with some devs commentating on it ;-)

Not really, the only new thing is the pirate ship map.

Somebody asked a few months ago when they would be starting to market their game. I guess now they have their answer. Let's see what the next days and weeks hold for us.

Advsertising has been going on for quite a while, and the next few weeks probably old banner ads and mor videos, including one on WVW.

No, there is a gate in a very obscure area of Dinvity Reach... at least, there was, until the second BWE.

Hell yeah.
That quote needs to be read by every developer who thinks about adding competitive/structured PvP to their games. I hope ANet also follows their own mantra (which they seem to be doing).
