With just under three weeks until the general public gets their hands on the Guild Wars 2 Collector's Edition, Felicia Day was kind (or cruel) enough to make an unboxing video to show off its contents. For those of you who haven't memorized the box contents, here they are in a nice bullet-point format.
  • 10 inch Rytlock Brimstone statue.
  • A 112 page "Making of Guild Wars 2" hardcover book.
  • A six-song sampler of the Guild Wars 2 official soundtrack and a coupon for the complete soundtrack.
  • Five art prints and a frame to display your favorite.
  • A tin case to hold your game CD.
  • The Mistfire Wolf elite skill.*
  • One in-game miniature Rytlock Brimstone*
  • A Chalice of Glory, Tome of Influence, and one Golem Banker.*

Arenanet is really pushing that CE lol...I keep saying they did not sell as many as they wanted...

I thought it was really funny, too. :)  She's cool, I remember stumbling across The Guild a long time ago.

Don't most game developers have someone famous unbox a collectors, though? The last one I paid attention to was Gears of War 3, which Ice T unboxed, since he voiced a character. Maybe it's a new thing.

I LOVE the low amount of trash packaging they used for the CE! I hate how much waste is usually made each time I open a physical game that just stuff to hold the statue and some film is wonderful to me!

Kind of dissapointed the Best of Guild Wars 2 music CD has 6 songs on it, i was planning on buying the full music for the 30 bucks anyways but seems kind of cheap to just put 6 songs on it.

Too much innuendo and bad one-liners for my taste, but at least I get to see what the CE is like before mine arrives ^^

Rytlock is gonna look real nice next to Geralt.

I'm with you on this... unless the soundtrack is so bad only 6 are really worth listening to; but I have my doubts. With that few songs it feels more like it was just added to make another bullet point.
