Seriously, this sale is magnifying the fact that Anet currently doesn't have many desirable Cash items for sale at the moment. They should have just waited on something like this until Christmas when I'd assume they'll actually have new costumes and other stuff up.

So I guess keys are not being sold alot?
I'd think keys are one of the best selling things in the shop. Cause they actually give you something.

Actually, I think they're showing that they know exactly what their customers want.
You don't think they'd offer deep discounts on stuff that people would buy anyway, do you? No, they discount the stuff that doesn't sell - like the three dollar revive orbs.

You get them for free in game. Takes about 15-20 mins per key but waste of gold / gems if anyone is actually buying them for the crap they give.

I'm pretty confident that Anet would have raked in far more cash if they had only offered discounted character slots this weekend instead of the 9 items they offered. I felt absolutely no desire to give them any money and I doubt I'm alone. Offering character slots or other items people actually wanted would have changed that. It makes me wonder if they are sitting over there with their fingers stuck in their ears going "lalalalalalalaaaa!" or something. They obviously want money... why are they refusing to offer stuff we actually want to spend money on? I don't know many people that buy stuff they didn't really want to begin with just because it's discounted.

Time still has a value, and in those 15-20 mins I can do a dungeon runs which nets more than a key so it isn't even worth it imo.
Point is, I would think keys are one of the most bought items, probably just a desillusion at my side..
