I think i know your problem, do you have 10 player mails you have not deleted? If so you won't receive anything til you delete at least one.

Oh thank you I got them now I didn't know such a limit existed... Also got a lot of junk (green) items that my friends sent me while we were leveling, I remember that I thought mails were bugged....

I'm not at all surprised they didn't put character slots/bank slots on sale. People are buying those for full price. I'm disappointed of course, but I knew there was only a slim chance of that happening.
They would only ever put consumable items in the sale. They'd probably stand to lose too much money to include actual useful upgrades like character slots/bags/bank slots.. stupid businesses and their money

If they made a small discount on those items then they'd most likely actually sell more. People on the fence and people not interested in buying the stuff they did put on sale would buy those. I could be wrong, but I see more potential profit than loss.
These were some good sales, however, with the current uprise in gem prices it comes down to about the same in price haha, I actually did the math on this. So it was only a 'sale' if you bought the gems with gold prior to the gem price rise, or with real money.

Mystic forge stones and karma boosters are decent items.
I am really disappointed that they didn't sell character, stash and bag slots, though.
