Same here. Its a great game but with so many bugs and problems, it cant be GotY for me. It's definitely one of the best though, been playing it and only it besides 4 days of Halo 4 since release.

I like GW2 but it's also disappointing in some ways, particularly how ANet has shifted their vision and core philosophies scant months into release, and I surely don't think it's GOTY material or worthy of any other accolades.
GW2 has nice graphics as far as MMORPGs go, but I'm not sure it should even be listed for graphical categories since MMORPGs rarely even come close to touching tech potential compared to other games. However, with so many PC games having strong console games few games at all are doing anything with serious tech these days - most are wussified to console standards which are years out of date.

Definitely Game of the Year for me personally, because I waited for it for ages and haven't put it down since its release. The Best MMO/MP ones are a no-brainer, as there really is no other MMORPG that has been released this year that quite caught my attention and the graphics are delicious for my taste - I am more in love with the Art direction than the actual graphics and I am sure there are other (SP) games out there with a lot better graphics in term of technical achievements - so I didn't vote for the latter.

If this were MMOchampion, they would be banned ASAP.
All I can say is, in my recent trip to Walmart, Guild Wars 2 had one copy left in it's stock section which had two aisles. Mists of Pandaria had about 20 or so expansion discs packed in its own single section.
The WoW battle chests with multiple expansions was stocked to the front. As was SWTOR. TSW had a few copies left.
Obviously this is just one store, etc. but am fine with how Guild Wars 2 is doing. WoW wasn't a blockbuster success when it launched, it didn't have competitive pvp / huge raid scene. Guild Wars 2 has more potential than any MMO atm and that may be on the horizon for some time.
Deal with it.
