Lost Shores event rewards being handed out
After the finale of the unique, one time even at the start of the Lost Shores, many players lost out on their rewards due to connectivity and hardware problems. As an apology, Arenanet has begun to send rewards out to all participating players who did not receive their justified rewards. This was confirmed on their official facebook account.

I participated but missed out on the end reward............I was very happy to receive my reward via the mail system today. I got the same type of rewards as well.

Ah shit, opened it on the non 80 alt who participated. Hooray for an exotic(80) accessory and 20 slot bag but I just missed my chance at lvl 80 exotics/rares (got 62s). They should have just made all the rewards lvl 80.

did the same thing, and they should have since the character I tried to do it on was an 80. then I used a black lion kit to try to get a rune off of one and did not receive the rune, so I ragequit for the day.
honestly though knowing my luck I probably would have gotten the same thing on one of my 80s, given past drop rates and knowing how much RNG hates me.

Free 20 slot box is always nice although I can't really use 2 karka shells since you can only really equip one.

Black lion is 100% to salvage an upgrade..... guessing you meant master kit.

I got DCed at the last event about 2 hours past the very start
I just loged in and got a mail with Karka chest
Got 20 slot box, karka accesory, 2 rares and 2 exotics

I am not a big fan of lotteries and things where 99% get squat and 1% or less hit a gold mine. Oh well, I think everyone who contributed should have gotten a precursor. I'll take what they sent and liquidate it, a gold and change ought to help keep one of my leveling up alts in fresh gear for a bit.
Note to Anet, yes you can buy me off cheap. Those 20 slot bags are sweet, best event reward yet to date.

[/quote]Agree on both counts but I would alter the second part to 'events like the Ancient Karka' again. The Mad King busting down the lion statue was cool and the dungeon remained up for people to run it who couldn't be online to witness it. I think that should be more of a model for future one-time events.

Okay, so people complained about how they took too long to give people item. Now they complain that people that did not even took part of the event get rewards.
Maybe you should not have shouted about ArenaNet needing to fix it faster then?
The reason it took time was because they tried to find a way to decide which accounts took part of the event and which didn't. Why they quit (disconnect or knowingly logging out) and so on. But noo people wanted to get the stuff NOW, and here we have the situation.
