Tomorrow, January 17th, systems designer Matt Witter, game designer Jonathan Sharp, and lead content designer Mike Zadorojny will be hosting a livestream chat on Twitch to discuss the game's design as well as chat about various topics present in the community. The stream begins at noon PST and, after a short break, will continue at 2 pm for a Q&A session based on questions submitted on the official forums. These developers play a big role in the design and development of the game, so you definitely are going to want to tune in to hear the insight they have to offer.
Keep in mind they haven't posted the actual thread that they'll be using to pull questions from yet, but we'll keep an eye out and update you all when it's up.

This, will anybody be creating a transcript? Twitch is down because we probably over-stretched their website.

What is there to say?
They have already said what they can say.
2 servers per day. No cross-region guesting because of technical limitations.
What should they do? Simply repeat that?
Lie and give people the answer they want to hear?

Why should they focus everything on a part of the game that most of the populations probably don't use?

Recognise the issue? Promise to revisit it based on community feedback?, Give more technical clarity(we tried this and this but.. etc etc ) or heaven forbid apologise. we're really sorry we couldnt get it to work.. Tons if stuff. Anything but sweep it under the carpet.

So, instead of actually answer question they should more or less repeat what they have already answered but with other words?
You seems to think that they simply decided to screw the community and don't add cross-region guesting, instead of it actually being technical issues that stops them from doing it.
Going into too much technical information could also be quite dangerous, since it could give hackers a rather clear view of how their servers are built, which could make possible attacks much easier.

What if it isn't used because of its current state? What if a lot more people would use it if it DID have improvements? I personally have no idea about its state in GW2 because I don't PvP in an MMO.
