Coming back to Ian Whyte as Gregor Clegane, after seeing him in Prometheus I must say he's done quite good in ferocious fights, with nice dynamics and all Yup, it was HIM (Prometheus spoiler below)

Well my opinion about Game of Thrones. After seing whole season 1 I thought the series was 8/10 as in very good, but not a classic or so good that many others think. However the second season became finally so good as I wanted and I rate second season as 9/10 a classic.

TV series are like that to me. For example Smallville season 1 is rather average to me. However at season 3 and season 4 Smallville was at peak entertainment to me as classic 9/10 and roughly other seasons are 8/10 to me. One of my favorite Smallville seasons and the music tune was also in that episode:

Yeah well good for you that you think both seasons were top notch. I feel I need to explain myself and yes it is subjective taste which season is best.

If you look at the ending of season 2 it has slighlty horror theme. You could argue that the very first episode of season 1 was horror theme which is true, but generally season 2 has more dark magic and horror then season 1.

Also the Warfare expands and I like that it is not only about 2 factions.

Simply to be clear I am only commenting the serie and not the books since I have not read them. I let other people judge how close the series is to the books. Anyway to me that is less important as long as it is good.

the character progression is pretty good in the story! but i hope the actress is better, she doesn't show much of a change although as a viewer, i anticipate she would grow up and be wiser. instead she stay stupid , or was she feinting? I have high hopes, they've done a pretty good job casting child actors, one would hope those actors are skilled enough to show growth.

There is a MMORPG with its lore in the making, sadly by Bigpoint - definitely looks like crap, always surprises me how people waste their franchise of something with huge potential, by being cheap skates when it comes to its video game production.

I actually like the actress who plays Sansa. Completely hated the character throughout all the books, didn't change much either - but in the series, I am starting to really enjoy her scenes.

I remember one scene in particular: The right before the Battle of the Blackwater Bay where Joeffrey made her kiss his blade to bestow the Maiden's virtue upon it. Her passive-aggressiveness is just a joy to watch - especially when she said something akin to "They say my brother always leads the Vanguard!" it's a perfect display of the only way she has at her disposal to really resist the king.

If I compare her with the girl we met at the beginning of the series, I definitely see her more jaded of her Knights and Princess Tales, harshly being shot from her naivity cloud and becoming increasingly more wily in her opposition She's just at the mercy of a very volatile little prick king and vile husband - it's easier for Arya to pout and kick and scream and be deemed clever/brave, Sansa on the other hand - has to do these things more cunning to survive in King's Landing.

Definitely my least favourite Stark, but a Stark none the less.

Sorry, but Bran is the worst Stark. He's so, for lack of a better word, bratty and childish. Arya is only slightly older than him and gone through a lot more and handles it much better, he wallows in his self pitty way too much.

Maybe because he's....GOT NO EFFING LEGS he can use, for crying out loud! lol.

Discovering the death of your mother/brother amongst an all our battle(I believe she saw her mothers bloated corpse), being bashed in the back of the head being in a coma, having your whole world ripped away from you, losing your identity, having your face removed and replaced, watching your father be beheaded

I am not sure how hard the whole identity strip hit her really, because quite frankly she wasn't ever happy about who she was or had to be, to begin with. So I'd not count that as a woefully traumatic experience in my book. So basically she saw people die. Horribly on some accounts, all right. I can empathize with that. Yet given the doctrines of the Many-Faced God she's been taught in Bravoos, I think she has a very different perspective to death as others would. I could imagine she has taken solace in the fact that he considers death a merciful end instead of a divine punishment.

Don't get me wrong, I fancy Arya over Bran (as a person and as chapters to read) ANY day of the week - but comparing their plights might not go in favour of the alley cat.

I finally was able to watch Season 1 and it was AWESOME!! Having already read all the books: It did a good job of jogging my memory and entertaining me with the great cast and dialogue and character development - much better than movies, this series: Best Fantasy film I've ever seen.
