The holy trinity is gone! Every profession has the ability to deal damage, control enemies and support her allies. So to enjoy a profession for a long time, it’s best to choose to a profession based on your preferred playstyle. This slightly humorous guide will hopefully help you choose a profession based on your personality and preferred playstyle.
Elementalist - The master of elements!Are you a explosion-loving pyromaniac and do you get a “colinsmile” when you see a lot of foes all clustered up? Proceeding to click on your strongest AoE skill while jumping and spinning on your chair like a tornado in excitement? Don’t look further! This profession is perfect for you! And don’t worry when your spell misses and a lot of enemies come rushing towards you! The elementalist is very versatile and can change “attunements” on the fly to change her element and role! The elementalist can burn, freeze, smash, or shock her enemies.. or any combination of the four! Elementalists use elemental magic to destroy enemies, support allies, and control the battlefield.

Warrior - The master of weapons!Do you like to rush at you foes in a blind rage like leeroy Jenkins while shouting your own name like Kilroy Stonekin? And do you like to be the tough guy with the big weapons like the mighty Thor? Because if you do, the warrior might be the perfect class for you! It’s the class that can use the most weapons but is also the class with the most straight-forwarded game play. You march into battle while using shouts and supportive banners to move your friends forward and keep them alive! You can shrug off blow after blow while fueling your adrenaline, using it to unleash powerful burst skills! Everyone wants to run away from you! Luckily, the warrior can easily switch to a ranged weapon and kill the fleeing coward with a flaming arrow!

Ranger - The master of the wild!Do you have an awesome Pokemon card collection, a soft spot for cute pets, a love for nature and is National Geographic Channel your favourite television channel? Because if that's the case, the ranger might be the profession for you! The ranger is for those who prefer agile combat and natural prowess. Rangers use quick attacks from any range to overwhelm their enemies. Their pet companion serves as a valuable ally on the battlefield. The ranger uses the power of nature at her advantage by setting up traps, calling birds to attack her foes and summoning ancient spirits to aid her in combat! A true ranger will shout "damn nature you aint scary!"

Necromancer – The master of the dead!Do you like to watch movies that involve zombies, blood and mass slaughter while being alone in the dark? Do you find “death” to be interesting and do you secretly want to be a blood sucking vampire? If so, the necromancer might be for you. The necromancer is for those who wish to have power over the dead. Necromancers summon minions from the grave, and use spells that drain life force or crush enemies with the power of deathly magic.. but can also use their magic to remove conditions and summon wells to support their allies in battle. They can also use the collected life force to transform into a death shroud that will give her a new set of powerful skills! Be afraid, be very afraid!

Guardian – The master of defense!Hmmm... What if a warrior and monk had a baby? Poof! A baby wammo.. er.. GUARDIAN is born. But don’t get confused. The guardian is not a tank or a healer that you know from most traditional MMO's! The only thing that they have in common is that they like to help their allies more than themselves. So do you like to help people out and is your favorite color blue and your favorite weapon a mace? Look no further! The guardian will be running around the battlefield with passive buffs that she can activate to protect her allies in combat while still having the option to deal damage with her mighty war hammer and summoned spirit weapons. People will have faith in you! Do you have what it takes to become a blue mace lady (lord)?

Thief – The master of shadows!Did you love to play hide and seek when you were young? And do you not mind to pirate music and movies? And will you probably nerdgasm at the sight of Drizzt fighting with Entreri? If that's the case, the thief might be the perfect class for you! You are the famous narutard! Loved by few, feared by many! You will be the master of stealth and surprise. You will be deadly in single combat and compensate your low armor and health by being quick and evasive. You hop in and out battle to slowly kill your enemies while using stealth, shadow-steps and traps. You can also steal environmental weapons from enemies in the game and use it against them! You are the cake-stealing cakessassin!

Engineer – The master of mechanical mayhem!Are you the adult dude that is still playing with fireworks every year? And even prefers to make the fireworks yourself?! Do you have a nerdy collection of toy planes and gadgets? But most of all... Do you love EXPLOSIONS??! Because that means that the Engineer might be the perfect profession for you! You are the master of mechanical mayhem that always plans ahead! You control and dominate the battlefield with self-made devices! Devices that can EXPLODE!! F--- YEEEEH! You can switch weapon and backpack kits on the fly in combat to change your playstyle! You can use bombs, mines, grenades, tools, meds and even a flamethrower or elixer gun to win the battle! You are the dude who will yell: "Thief sappin' mah turret!" Oh, and remember! Cool guys don't look at explosions... they just blow things up and walk away!

Mesmer – The master of illusions!Do you enjoy trolling people with sarcastic comments? Do you also believe in the magical power of Mantra's and did you always want to have a twin brother or sister that looks just like you? Well, lucky you! This profession might be perfect for you! It's the always deceptive Minstrel, uhm... Mesmer! The light armored scholar roams arround the battlefield while summoning clones, phantasms, portals and other things that confuse the enemy. They might attack your perfectly planted clone, just to get heavily damage because you shattered it! The control-focused, mantra-chanting Mesmer might not sound like a damage dealer. But don't be surprised when a huge greatsword empowered beam hits you in the face! Do you have what it takes to make your enemies ragequit?
