Alright just watched through the video in HD. The quality is disappointingly low even in HD and doesn't do justice to the game. :( It's not that bad when you watch it small, but when you full-screen it all the textures look really low res...almost as bad as GW Alpha.

Still reading the interview though and it sounds exciting. :D

I'm starting to question my, to this point, unwavering plan to make my main a human warrior as a successor to my GW main. I'm having images of playing a human warrior in a group of norn warriors and feeling like a complete twerp - like a little boy globbing on to the big kids, trying so much to be one of them. Even if the norn "aren't just big humans," their appearance is such to make me feel this way. I may have to use humans for the less 'grunt-work' professions.

I have always looked at it the opposite way. I am making an Asura female Warrior, because what is cooler than having the same stats as the gigantic male norn warriors as an asura female who looks like she should get crushed by huge enemies until you realize that the game is designed so that any race can play any profession. To me, that makes smaller characters feel more powerful than their larger counterparts.

Very nice interview, thanks for posting Rubi.

It's was especially nice to hear about the differences between the norn and human starting experiences. That provides yet more contrast between the races and promises to make rolling up alts more interesting.

I think it would be even more heroic for a human warrior to stand amongst a bunch of norn and fight alongside them. Like in 'The 13th Warrior' :) (If you haven't seen that movie, go rent it *now* while norn week is fresh in mind! It's an awesome flick)

I just found out that Ten Ton Hammer copied the interview onto their own article without any mention that it came from Massively. Seriously? That's so unprofessional, it's freaking plagiarizing.

EDIT: My bad... was reading through another thread and it appears that NCSoft's PR sent out the interview to various sites simultaneously.
