Had a bit of a play in Photoshop yesterday putting together a picture for my girlfriend (and she loves it )

EPIC lightning storm at my place earlier tonight. The last image looks a touch odd because it was completely overexposed until I tinkered with the RAW in Photoshop.

very nice photo's, i'm also in the same boat as you. i suck at drawing and picked up photography years and years ago.
i just got back into it again about 4 months ago with a rebel t3i, sigma 10-20 mm wide, and a canon 100mm L macro.
it is winter where i am right now, so no bugs, flowers etc to play with the macro lens but great landscaping and buildings all year round
i dont really post my picutres online much anymore tho. i have seen way to many pictures of friends taken and used on products across the sea with company's thinking it is ok.

Really cool photos! I love lightning/storm photography and those are some nice shots! I think the last one is the most dramatic.

Dragonflies are scary as all heck! But they're also amazing critters and those pics really capture them well. Really cool pics. Nice work with the new camera
