I have thrown together a Guild Wars 2 Signature Generator.

Example




I know it wont get much use here, but these tools can be quite popular on other forums so hopefully some of you may like it.

Since the game isn't out yet I can't do anything particularly fancy with character stats or achievements yet, and there is limited artwork so both genders for each race aren't covered. More signatures will be added over time especially with beta/release.

Big thank you to Intui for designing these first signatures for me. Let me know if you spot any bugs and if anybody else designs some sigs feel free to email the .psds to me and I may add them, contact details at the bottom of the site.

Isn't this site supposed to support Sigs once everything with curse is done?

pretty neat :D  i would attempt to change the background pic based on race and profession ;)  necro human with logan background is kinda lols

Sort of, I suppose. The subscription program will eventually open up (soon™) and people with that will be able to use signatures.

Added some new designs just now to cover some abnormalities. Still some races are hard to find, for example I can't find any artwork for a Norn elementalist.

Actually there is a lot of artwork and a Norn Elementalist can be found on the GW2 main website xD Here it is: click!

I think there is enough art for race + proff or to even give us the option to choose different templates :) But i understand that it will take a while for you to create all those templates. Anyways, good luck! And i will defy keep experimenting with this tool and prolly even use it when i become a premium member.

I suppose if he doesn't want it in there, you could edit it and place it in yourself. Though good idea. Maybe have button you click to generate if you want a GW2 logo on it or not or something.

Just eats up the server, it's bad enough that the Guru/Curse goes through server hiccups at least once a month.

I just tried an Asura Thief and it comes out as a Charr Elementalist. D:

I know it may be hard to find artwork, but the background should be affected by race, profession (as Eragon wrote) and gender. It may be hard, but it had been better.
You should also remove the white background on the profession emblem/sign to transparent.
^..but that's my opinions.

Other than that, awesome :D

This is so cool!  Love this signature generator!  Makes me even more excited for Guild wars 2 to come out!

Ask the mods. Its probabaly because the game isn't even out yet. But im not quite sure. I never checked the first guru site so i can't really say

Who knows why they don't allow sigs. It's becoming more common on forums though. It's a pity they don't have em here too, I would totally be using mine. It's very cool of the designer here to make a simple sig that people who may not know how to make a sig can use. It's a good simple clean design, and open for customisation. Good job :D
