I have been trying to find some ingame asuras from gw2 with long ears. Just like in GW1. But i can't find any, all of them have shorts ears and look like rats.

Question: Can we make asuras with long ears? (i know that we have few information about custumization)

And, if so, Can someone post a image here?

Edit: like this one Posted Image

GW1 also had many different ear types.  I bet you 5k GW2 currency that this will be part of the character customization.

i saw that one too. Actually i saw all models of GW1 on wiki, and i know there are also short ears asuras. I'm just curious that we didn't saw any of long ears on gw2, yet!

Don't worry ANet has confirmed that game will have extensive character customization with both sliders and preset features.
I'm sure you will be able to have long ears on your asura.

When you mention it, most asura we've seen so far have short ears.

The one in this concept art has fairly long ears though...

Interesting question, I guess we'll have to wait for more info on character customization or perhaps Asura week.

We've barely had any information on any aspects of the Asura at all, it seems.

They said GW2 is borrowing from what NCSoft had used in Aion, which was top notch character customization (Many believe it has too much leeway).  We will have to wait and see what ArenaNet does with it.

I hope that ear customization is a part of asura character creation...but what if large ears clip with helmets and hoods?  Will armor be modified on the asura model so that the ears can stick out?  We'll just have to wait and see :P

I also hope that the rows of little pointy teeth asura had in gw1 make their way into gw2

Maybe ears disappear completely under helmets and other headgear D:

Unless this asura's ears are reeaaaally small, I don't know how they'd fit under that helmet.

Remember that females have smaller, rounder ears than males in GW1. I'm not sure how much of this distinction is maintained in the GW2 designs, though. Looking at the screenshots on the official asura page, I see three or four different ear styles, though not a great deal of variation in length.

We may have to wait for Asura Week or for asura to be added to the demo to find out for sure.

Not sure if we can make them full black. The change of the eyes is because of evolution right? So they can walk and live in the sunlight all day. Else your Asura will go blind :(

You know, I have this theory that it wasn't really a matter of evolution, but that asura's in GW2 all used a very potent version of an eye drop that optometrists use during exams to dilate the pupils and make you look high.
Mostly because Evolution isn't something that happens in 250 years, or even as long as a thousand.
But of course, Asuran do use a lot of magi-tek and such, they're not any species known to our world, they live on a world fairly different from ours, magic, and they spent a long time living near a dragon that tends to cause @#$% to happen just by existing, I think even Darwin would agree that the possibility for rapid evolutionary mutation would be possible.

Kinda off-topic but visible evolution, and even speciation, can occur in as little as decade, if not less.

The physical changes to the Asura are likely to make them more appealing to the general public, although I guess evolution could be a way to explain it.
