Great job Rustmane!  I'm still having incredible difficulty just getting a charr face right from a 2/3 angle, let alone getting a full body done.

Yeah, I still don't quite have the body right... I'm making them too human proportioned. Somewhere on someone's art thread there is a break down of Charr bodies into basic shapes, but I don't remember where. Looking at that was helpful.

There's really no Earthly equivalent to a charr's physical structure which is really very cool IMO but makes them weird and hard to do :p

Here's my request/challenge:

(name withheld) Male Asura Warrior
Personality: Typical Asura snark, the "I'm smarter than everyone here and you'll be amazed when you realize it" look, but tempered with his middle-age and years of battle. His attitude hides a ferocious temper.
Description:
(unarmored) Typical pale Asura-grey skin, with an older appearance. Intense amber eyes and longer-than-average ears with small tufts of hair at the tips. Black or dark brown hair, possibly with small streaks of grey. I'm not particular about the hairstyle, but a typical topknot or short ragged style would be great. No facial hair. Very muscular (for an Asura), and of generally large (again, for an Asura) stature. Has a small but visible scar on his right forearm. Wears "typical Asura town clothes" but with a very autumn color scheme... orange, yellow, gold... maybe some red or steel... I'm not too picky. Has "coke-bottle" goggles, usually has them on his head instead of using them, and a squarish "old model" version of the Asura bracer (like Zojja wears, but blockier, more sharp lines/angles) on his left arm.
(armored)
Full segmented plate armor (like the old Elite Kurzick armor) with a robotic, "powered armor" look. It has a shiny steel finish and bronze or gold trim. Various glowing spots or "powerstone" crystals in key locations. Full, squarish helmet, with a wide enough visor to see his eyes shining under it (and not much else).
Equipment:
Large double-axe, similar in size and style to the Stygian but not necessarily that skin, and a smaller, single-edged Axe with similar styling. Coloring is generally unimportant (typical wood or hefty bronze/gold handle, steel blade... whatever, have fun with it.), but both axes have shiny/white, well-sharpened cutting edges. Also wields a very high-tech-looking Rifle, something that could be a laser gun in another game. Sleek and shiny with electronic-looking lights and patterns on it, the rifle contrasts his normal yellowy/golden/reddish color scheme with colder blue and silver hues. Usually stores it on his back, over the big axe if neither are in use.
Other relevant Bio: College of Dynamics. A symbol somewhere would be cool, perhaps a small burst or explosion crest on his armor or clothes...

A full-body image of him leaning on his big axe or a close-up of his helmeted head and eyes glowing under it would be awesome... anything else you want to do would be equally awesome. As I said earlier, I'm not too picky, and have fun with it. ;)

His name is Dasachi and hes fascinated mostly with norn and the cold, he is a winter season. For what hes wearing, i dont care too much, as long as its norn related, maybe mix some norn and sylvari stuff together. I want him to be shirtless or a tanktop though.

Race:  Charr

Sex: Male

Personality:

Innate ability to inspire a sense of trustworthiness, despite his best efforts to the contrary.  Is not above telling half truths to manipulate a situation in his or his friends' favor, but solidly against outright lying.  Easily annoyed, but extremely difficult to anger - though given his incredibly vicious temper, that's probably a good thing.  Not much for speaking, more for thinking.  Likes to think about a situation from several angles, weighing pros and cons before taking action.  Prefers the company of none, but sometimes craves the company of one.  Tightly packed, loud crowds of strangers can make him anxious.

Description:

His pelt is reminiscent of a cougar.  Large eyes, grey in color with a large, bright rimmed pupil.  Prefers to keep his leather armor in a dark shade of grey with few bright blue and copper highlights scattered about.  Armor is similar to the second from the left in the middle row here

, except he does wear jeans like leg coverings instead of going... commando like that. o_0  Has a strange blue screened device on his left forearm of possible Asuran origin.  People think it's something threatening, but it's just a music player.

Horns are swept back more then up, and his muzzle is all but free of any protruding teeth. Medium, not overly bulky nor excessively scrawny, body build.

Equipment:

Twin pistols, each on a leg holster on his thighs, and twin daggers, one strapped to each of his lower legs.

That's not bad at all. It's a hell of a lot better than anything I could draw. ;)

I like those eyebrows, and the armor design is great. It's simple, stylish, and the little bit of writing on the collar to give it a bit of Asura flair... "Asuran magic" you might say. That expression is priceless; very much the face of an Asura Warrior.

I'm not a fan of how it came out, but then again it was just my first attempt at an Asura.  Been since fiddling with how Im drawing charr.  Think I ended up reinvisioning how my character would look, armor wise.

So, if anyone needs a reference for my charr char:

Ended up completely throwing my armor idea out. XD  Ended up with a lot more fabric.  Around the neck, poofy upper leg pant/jeans.  Still a cougar fur pattern and all that jazz, but the armor is a lot less S+M and a little more 'functionally loose.'  Still a fan of bronze or copper metal components, such as the belt shackles.  Grey shades in the armor, but somehow get blue highlights in there perhaps?  Maybe in the fabric.  I donno.

A little bit of backstory:

The thing about my little one -Aniaa's her name- is, she hasn't quite been the same since her Master died. Aniaa was a good little apprentice, and he was a great Master. As he was dying, he intrusted her with the title of "Genius" and left her forever. She lost a bit of sanity that day; she loved her Master, and he "abandoned" her. She tends to mix up the living and the dead now. If a pet of hers dies she simply reanimates it and continues to treat it the same way, parading it through Rata Sum, petting it, "feeding" it biscuits. She's relatively harmless until one of her "organic golems" (A golem mixed with rotting flesh so she can easily control it) gets loose and is deemed an anomaly by the peacemakers. She's thrown in jail after she makes her creation smash the golems and their riders. Little Aniaa is then banished, where she somehow wanders to the outskirts of Lion's Arch and studies the Orrian undead nearby.
Aniaa is tends to ignore the state of disrepair her armor is in- she adds bones and such to it, but refuses to mend it. She wears a blindfold and uses her connection to everything spiritual so somehow move around. It's her way. It would help if her armor reflected how disconnected she is to regular thought- a big of a garglemesh, if you will.

Bio 1: Some sylvaris look more like humans, she however is more "planty".
She's neither too fat nor to slim.

Bio 2: She might look a bit "creepy", but there's something about her that makes her look both pretty and sexy.

Bio 3: Her season is Autumn, therefore her colors are related to it. Her skin is a dark golden and her hair is red.

Bio 4: She has a strong a love for the mysteries of life. Sometimes she losses herself in thoughts.

Bio 5: She rarely smiles and her eyes express a "deep" person, she's a loner at heart but likes to help others.

Bio 6: She despises unecessary violence. Altough a little charm doesn't hurt, dignity is more important to her.

Bio 7: She will wield both a bow and a sword and use them however the situation demands it. "Its good to be prepared for the worst".

Isn't that rather ... random? I would expect to see a list along the lines of Name, Race, Gender, Profession, Personal characteristics, Armor details, Equipment details (including pets), Other specific requests, Character background (Bio).

how do you show Dignity/Cham/Ferocity or Instinct/Cunning/Strength etc.
Its just a format which you can use /edit to keep it in nice overview
