Now,I as everyone else watched the new trailer.I watched closely and at 2:34,I saw three men/women running.I also heard a 'battlecry' of sorts, sounding like a dwarf.
Any other theory's?

the part where the human army is shown before the 'faceoff', you can clearly see a stone dwarf. At about 1:22

Yeah but werent they the ancestors?
So that dwarf wouldve died off?
'But Zhaitan's power was too great'

I think dwarves will appear more than thought

Doubtful, towards the end cinematic in EOTN, it was said that the dwarves kept pursuing the Destroyers overall.

We probably have scattered remnants of dwarves around the world, but they are not the fighting force as they originally were.

I assume these ancestors were mainly humans who attempted to fight off the Orr invasion, but died off. Hence this probably explains why there was only one last human city remaining...

Zhaitan awoke 100 years ago, that's about 150 years after EN. It may be that not all dwarves were there as well.

The survivors may well have switched to throwing themselves at whatever the threat of the day was. It certainly seems reasonable that there may be a handful of stone dwarves fighting in that battle, even though it did seem to be mainly humans doing the fighting. (The dwarves are probably one of the few nonhuman races that definitely ARE allies of humanity... there just aren't that many of them.)

We know that there are is at least one dwarf left when Zhaitan awoke, weather that they are around after that time is unknown.

BTW: Trailer to see dwarf is the time of 1.22 to 1.23, you will need to stop it there too(if someone can post a picture of it that would also help alot, he also next to the capt or leader) Also the dwarf is in Stone form, which means that he is a very wise or powerfull dwarf.

Around 1:22-1:23 that dwarf (who happens to be the same one in my avatar, lol) is when the narrator says "our ancestors" so I'm assuming that is way before GW2. However around 2:34 looks like a dwarf (in gw2 in-game).

Don't look. Listen. You can sort of hear a war cry in the background. Sounds more like some kind of monster to me than a dwarf but whatever :P.

Sounds like a normal male fighter type war cry to me :P

the one on the left has the same armor/helmet as the guy on 3:25. As norn and dwarfs are more like each other than humans and dwarfs, i think that is a norn war cry ;)

Your probably right. I'd prefer more solid evidence to the existance of more dwarves than we thought, like the 1:23 scene. You can clearly tell it's a dwarf, which is awesome!

The question is: which dwarf is it? ;)

My bets on Ogden

Can't think of some other bald dwarf, but we may not have seen him at all :P

Just because the battle was lost I wouldn't count ol' Ogden dead yet; not only is he an experienced monk, but he also has perma Stone Flesh Aura. :D

The armor is diffrent... Perhabs Odgen diden't take the rite and found others that choose not to either...if so if we are lucky we might see dwarves in flesh and blood in gw2 :).

It would be great if it was Odgen, but very unlikely.

Armor doesn't have to be the same. It is concept art. The same thing will look in game and from concept to concept. Besides, Ogden said he won't for now, so that implies he will later. And if he does after the Great Destroyer's death, I don't see why others wouldn't (or why he would).

How many did we think there were?

All we really know is that while there are survivors, they no longer form a nation in their own right. Having one show up in a major battle isn't really all that surprising.

Although it may be more likely to be Kilroy than Ogden. :p

We all know that the Great Dwarf granted his blessings upon his dwarven followers, turning them to stone and in turn making them a tad idiotic in the brainpan.

However one Dwarf did not take part in receiving the blessing, and we also failed to see any FEMALE dwarves taking part in the blessing.

So it is possible that, perhaps, there are some normal Dwarves still existent besides their stone version? Perhaps a lost colony that hails back to Ogden? Or am I perhaps going insane?

Still possible. We don't know what happened to the dwarven women. What's more, after the fall of their Last Hierophant (Duncan the Black), the Stone Summit fell to disarray, but they are not dead or sterilized though. It's still likely that they understood how dire the situation is, and returned to their women (both Stone Summit and Deldrimor females) to restart their race in great secrecy.

I doubt it. I think Prophecies are very clear, wether forseen by a Dragon or by the Great Dwarf *who wrote the Tome of Rubicon? memory lapse ><*

King Jalis Ironhammer only transformed that small group of dwarves into stone not the entire dwarven race. Watch through the cinematic and you'll see.

Then hear Ogden in the beggining of GWEN.
Whichever is the outcome of the battle between the Dwarves and the Destroyers, the Dwarven race will be changed forever (race and forever being the key words here).

The Prophecy was made by the Great Dwarf, Ogden was reciting it.

That doesnt really mean they all turned to stone. Even if one or two actually survived, coupled with time and the numerous incidents that have happened in Tyria their chances of survival are low. The Stone Dwarves are still around though.
