Ty

assuming it is a desktop and not a laptop, yes you can run at medium/high settings. The CPU is the deciding factor here. But i would lower the screen resolution if things start to go laggy.

medium settings? Maybe. the 610m is really bad imo, you can make it on low settings anyway.

You are seeing high settings or veryhigh settings or so. Nice CPU for a laptop.

Hi, was thinking of getting GW2 in the next couple of weeks, but I hear it's really hard on the CPU. Would I still have issues  in WvWvW with this build, even If I run it on low settings?

CPU: Intel Pentium G630
GPU: Radeon HD 6790
RAM: 2x4GB DDR3 - 1333

the GPU seemed alright, but
"Would I still have issues  in WvWvW with this build, even If I run it on low settings?"
you can, but it is still your bottleneck.

I don't have internet on my computer right now so I'm going to do my best to give my specs. I'm looking to run on medium to high settings.

OS: Windows 7 Professional 32-Bit
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93GHz
Ram: 4GB DDR3
Graphics: XFX-ATI Radeon HD 6770 DDR5 1GB
PSU: 520W

I think my CPU is gonna be a bottleneck. I have 8GB of RAM but my OS doesn't even utilize that much. Should I use it anyways?

Hi,

Wondering if I can run Guild Wars 2 on the this:

Mid-2009 MBP

Processor  2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Memory  8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Graphics  NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB

So far, doesn't look promising. Could I even pull it off on the lowest settings? If so, how bad do you think my FPS would be?

Thanks,

WTFox

Hey guys i was wondering if i would be able to play Gw2 in atleast medium graphics? or if low does the game look really bad on low? my computer isnt for gaming but ive been able to play a few games like WoW and such in decent settings, just dont wanna waste the 60 bucks on a game thats gonna be freezing and lagging with low fps 24/7 , its either buy gw2 or get WoW game time. :P thanks
the pc is a
HP Pavilion All-in-One MS200

Processor
AMD Athlon X2 3250e
Ram: 4GB
Not sure if you guys will be able to see it on this link
http://www.systemreq...ars-2/11297?p=a

but it says that everything passes in minimum even the stuff in the video card but then it says the video card failed so i dont really understand Pixel Shader version 3.0 4.0 Posted Image Vertex Shader version 3.0 4.0 Posted Image Dedicated Video RAM 256 MB 256 MB
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (build 7600), 64-bit

ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics with 256 MB VRAM (Dedicated Video RamNot

i would just like to know if it would be worth buying with my current pc (cant upgrade it or anything) would it look decent even if i can only play it on low graphics settings? i played raiderz since i think the graphics are similar but man i hate the look on lowest settings,
its either this or WoW lmao Thanks alot guys :))

Well, I dont know much about macs, but I will say this.   I am running a 7 year old Dell Dimension XPS gaming system.  It has a Pentium 4 Prescott 3.2 Ghz, with 2 gigs of ram.  The only thing I changed in order to run GW2, was my video card.  But during the 3 beta weekends, I played with a 7300 Gforce GT video card with 256 mb of ram.  And it ran great, but it the game was CPU bound during the first few betas, then by the 3rd beta, it was more video card bound, and they told me in order to continue playing, I had to upgrade my card... which I did, to the GT 630 card, with 1 gig ram.  The only reason I got this card, is because it was the only one that I could afford at that time.  But let me say this, I can run GW2 on MAX SETTINGS, with this 7 year old Dell computer, and get 30 FPS... Of course, 30 FPS is not great, but its good enough for me, and to be able to run this fantastic game at max settings on a computer that is 7 years old, is beyond belief.  Heck, my hard drive is 150 MB western digital. Thats how old this computer is.
Im running the driver update from September 23, 2012   version 6.14.13.681

Guild Wars 2 runs at max settings, with a 30 FPS... on best performance settings, I get around 50 FPS. Either way, even running the game on minimum settings, its still looks fantastic.
Eventually I will build a new machine.. but as long as GW2 runs this good, on this 7 yr old machine, there is no need for me to change.
Hope your mac is running the game ok.

The minimum requirement is HD3000 so you'll be fine running it on low to keep framerates. I too am running it on HD4000 while i wait for my HD7870 Ghz edition to arrive :)

Yes you can run it, stick to low settings to keep framerates though. Being lag free is NEVER possible though, just go lowest settings and a low screen resolution and you'll be fine.

I’m only getting 19 fps at the most. Here are my current specs but I did just order another graphics card which might be crap for all I know. I’m not sure what the issue is if it’s not my graphics card.

Dell XPS 9100
Windows 7 Home Premium
Processor - Intel® Core™ i7 CPU  930 @ 2.80GHz 2.80GHz
Installed memory (RAM) - 8.00 GB
System Type - 64-bit Operating System
Graphics Card - NVIDIA GeForce 310

What I just ordered 23 min ago is (XFX CORE Edition FX-777A-ZNF4 Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card).

I didn’t have a lot of money to spend but I hope someone sees this soon in case I should cancel the order. :]

Thanks!

The HD7770 is a great budget card, the Ghz edition especially. The benchmarks i linked are at stock speeds, so expect slightly better performance. But it'll run GW2 pretty well :) your CPU will be a limitation, and you didnt specify your resolution
http://www.tomshardw...ark,3268-6.html

The HD7770 only sips power so you should only need 450W maximum to run it

Hope this helps

If you arent do anything stressfull on the 2nd screen then it shouldnt impact your performance. Yes you can change your CPU, aslong as it compatible with the socket your motherboard has.

You'll be starving for RAM, aside from that at 1366x768 medium should be feasible if you bump the RAM to 4GB.

Your Processor will choke in WvW, but you can play on Low settings at that resolution in PvE... maybe a mix of Low and Medium.

Yes it will run, but you're going to have to stick to lower resolutions to be able to play around ~Medium settings.  Overclocking your APU would help allot, but the airflow in that case isn't the best by any means.  If you play at a higher resolution then you will have to play on ~Low settings, but it should be ok for PvE.

So I recently bought GW2 and ran it for the first time. I was at around 8 FPS on the lowest settings (Best performance setting), so I had given up and logged off lol.
The second time I ran in (and consequently thereafter), I just got blue screens after startup. No error (or so I think), just dumping physical memory etc.
I've already given up all hope of making it work on this computer, but I guessed posting here wouldn't hurt anything =/
If i could, however, since I'm buying a new computer soon, know what kind of specs needed to run at medium level, that would be amazing <3
Specs rn:
Dell DXP051
Intel® Pentium® D CPU  2.80 GHz
3 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE - 512 MB
Current resolution - 1400 x 1050 (32 bit)(60 Hz)

Much love <3 Thanks!

You are just about at the Minimum Official System Requirements... whether you have an HD 4350 or an HD 4550 would make a difference, but either way you're looking at bare minimum settings in-game @ a low resolution.

Upgrading your Video Card would help allot, but your Processor is quite old and would be a handicap in WvW, but should do allright in most PvE situations.
