[Kazehaya]

This is what I've been working on lately and I finished it yesterday.
A female Sylvari.


It took me more than 36+ hours to finish this. (yeah, so far for 'swift art')
My first time using no lineart or easy peasy 2d shading! I think it turned out nice...:angel:



And I'm working on Taokaka (BlazBlue) at the moment.

1 hour and 39 minutes already. I wonder how long this will take me. :eek:

Superb sylvari!   Great hair and ears on her :)    I like the skin markings too and how they're a tattoo pattern but they still give the impression of being part of the skin.

I never played BlazBlue, that's a creepy looking little guy.

Wow, the blossom of leaves on the sylvari's head is amazing. I have no clue who Taokaka is so I can't say much about that, but the sylvari is really good.

I kinda gave up on Taokaka atm...

Ooo.   Very cool!   :o    I like that gear design.     It looks almost sylvari-like but I like how a human is wearing it.   Or is that a norn given the tattoos?

If I have to be very honest... I have no idea.
It could be a Norn of course but perhaps the 'tattoo designs' are part of the armor itself.

Without any other races for scale I guess it could be either one.  I actually like the idea of it being a human in the armor.  Norn don't have the monopoly on tatoos in Tyria afterall (or do they?)  :)

Ah I remember seeing that armor design on the wiki. Its nicely incorporated in your elementalist design. Don't know why but I like the pose, it seems confident, cocky almost.

Maybe you could do some mesmer art? A mesmer sylvari could look cool. You could use your sylvari picture as part of the design. :3

Can't wait to see the finished mesmer! I watched a part of the stream then moved on see what it looked like at the end and it was quite impressive. Put it up as soon as its done!

Hey guys, long time no see!
I ended up not really finishing the Mesmer pic...
On the other hand, I've progress quite a bit with my style/art. Sorry for being so absent.
GW2 got me ABSORBED. xD

Anyway...
I got featured by GW2 on their facebook page. This is Naehin, my new Sylvari Mesmer.
I got the idea when I saw a gif of a Sylvari on dA. I thought it was faaaaabulouuussss. So I just had to make one too...



Quite proud of myself with this one!

Here's one of my Elementalist.







And this is a work in progress piece. I think I'll finish it in the next 2 weeks. Not quite satisfied with the colorscheme I had in my mind unfortunately.... ;_;

That's something of the challenge with games and art though, eh?
One one hand, it's inspirational for art, on the other, it's a wee bit hard to work on art while playing.

Definitely looking forward to more of your works.
