I know it's a bit of a late night post, but I figured we'd give those in Europe a little love.

New screens of PvP Scholar Armor and little bit of the PvP Lobby

Fixed... you can now see the higher res images

Oh sweet! Cheers! :D

The armour I think looks fantastic. And even looks very good on Norn too, which is surprising! (do you have greater size versions by any chance? :) )

Maybe love for night-shift Americans too?

I have a strong urge to make a female norn now.

It is not PvP only armor - unless of course it has been mislabelled all this time:
Spoiler

It is however the fancy-pants armor (literally!) Anet have been letting characters start with in the recent PvP demo builds, so they feel a little more spectacular from the get-go.

Usually I dislike unnecessarily revealing armor, but I actually like these. Cool design, and they're scholar "armor"--not real armor meant to actually protect. Just for looks. So, that's fine. Very pretty.

Armor in this game looks absolutely amazing! Can't wait to see more!

"Scholar" armor is just a different name for light armor. Professions are broken down into three different types which dictate what kind of armor they can wear.

Scholar professions such as the Elementalist, Mesmer, and Necromancer wear this light type armor.

Adventurer professions such as the Ranger, Thief, and Engineer wear medium type armor.

Finally, Soldier professions like the Warrior and Guardian wear heavy type armor.

Awesome! Hopefully we can get some male armor, too. And I'm really looking forward to seeing some more Medium Armor (Adventurer) for men. I hope there are more options that don't include trenchcoats. Because the textures are stiff, it always just looks like dresses >.<

Does anyone else think it has an Aion/Tera vibe about it?

One of the nice things I liked about GW1's armor sets was that they didn't always follow one theme. I know of quite a few people who are put off by the (in their view) 'anime' art style so I hope we'll see the same mix of styles as before.

So while this armor is great, I'd hate to see this game labelled as one thing or another because of the art style.

Agreed.

Why take screenshots at low/medium quality settings on a 20" 4:3 display?
