We're a true PvX guild, organised and seen in all formats of the game.
We have the PvE side covered, being the ones who started liberating Balthazar's Temple on a weekly basis to provide the shards for our server, with many dungeon masters who got the title in only guild parties. We can show you to the dragons and you will surely have some guildies to run anything PvE with.

Of course we're expanding on the guild missions. Got bounties, treks, rushes, unlocking challenges soon (just need merits). We have organised guild missions' runs at least once a week, and 'farm runs' four or more times a week, focused on letting our guildies get their personal rewards, all at various hours. Our guildies can even gather themselves and request guild missions started for them if there's enough interest - just like that.

Upon that, we're now mainly focused on building up our PvP potential.

That's from one random weekday (we still had thought we would fight Surmia next week, ended up against RoF), before our primetime - you can even see the hour.
We have 20+ people in WvW almost all the time, except for late nights / early mornings, and quite often field more.

That reset preparations:

9+ full parties. We were green, and we decided to hit Dzagonur Borderlands, the blue map. Except for us, there were 5~10 so-called 'randoms', although very communicative and helpful all the time.

So yeah, we're mainly recruiting PvP players now, with a solid base to build upon and a lot of potential to still turn into a proper force.
That said, laidback and nice people have always been our top interest, and we're a fully PvX guild at heart.

Just a little update about our last achievements and future plans:

Posted Image

As for WvW, we built up a strong and competent group; mainly thanks to our devoted commanders and our scheduled WvW events (usually 3-4 every week).

-We are currently planning to create a core group that operates around 1-2 commanders, switching those commanders between different days.

-In the coming months, our aim is to reach the level of other hardcore WvW guilds and start doing GvG actively. For now we are intensifying our training events and we'd like to recruit more players interested in our project.
Of course casual WvWers are always more than welcome.

As for PvE thanks to the little boost from Anet we are getting more and more known with the Costume Brawl event and we'll be organising more community events in the coming months.

-As you might have read we stopped doing the Balthazar&Grenth weekly event; we felt like the interest was falling down and the culling+lag didn't help in regards to entertainment. We'll keep doing temple liberations but in non-scheduled events every once in a while; so be up to date with the GH forum!
To replace those events we are currently running new ones.

-We have unlocked all the guild missions and we do all of them at least twice a week.

Posted Image

Posted Image

-We also run Dungeon night events and split Dungeon/WvW night events every week; as well as doing daily dungeon runs and daily WvW raids without schedule.

-We feel like both hardcore and casual players would feel at home within our guild; so do not hesitate and visit our forum!

Still open, with about 80 slots after already kicking about 100 inactives-without-a-word.
Right now we're mainly recruiting WvW regulars and tournaments players, but we're always open for all nice people, and we still retain our laidback PvX philosophy, despite becoming a major force in PvP.

For the moment, we have two Americans and two Aussies in the guild; on top of that, we're the guild that never sleeps, and sun is always shining over some MM members. We'd love to expand on that part of our coverage, so if you are from outside of European timezones and yet playing on Gunnar's, don't fret - we might just be the place for you =)

Midnight Mayhem recruitment is still open!

Posted Image

We have changed our guild site and are actively developing it to make it even better over time. Find us at http://www.midnight-mayhem.net

Our WvW side has been steadily growing stronger and more active.
Daily raids are growing at a steady pace. We keep our raids organised and disciplined but friendly and open at the same time. Being efficient and having fun is what it's all about, and we're exactly there ;)
You can take a peek at our recent reset raid video at http://twitch.tv/mid...hem/b/487133339

We're not only raiding in guild groups, but also organising open mic WvW runs and general WvW map commanding.
[MM] is as inclusive and open for everyone around as possible; we value cooperation and communication with our server mates, so never hesitate to join our commanders :)
The best example are our coffee raids, organised around noon, open for everyone to join us in WvW and help with the server's coverage. We do not intend to stop there!

Midnight Mayhem is one of the guilds invited by ANet to test the new upcoming WvW map, Edge of the Mists, and we're doing our best to deliver on that front, too.
Check out our EotM videos at & http://twitch.tv/mid...hem/b/484722872 - the new map sure is a lot of fun!

The guild's PvE side is stronger than ever.
We've been playing a vital role in all Tequatl runs on Gunnar's Hold so far, and intend to continue doing so. It's great to see the whole server coming together also in PvE, not only WvW, and we're proud to be a part of that community!
Funday Monday is a type of weekly event in Midnight Mayhem - we let our mildly mental nature take over and... unexpected things happen. Give our Funday Monday videos a look and see for yourself!

Last but certainly not least, our tPvP side has improved and is being actively developed.
While we do not represent a tryhard diehard approach, welcome everyone to team up and play together, we've already had quite some success in this format.

We are open for single players as well as groups, be it teams of friends or small guilds considering joining an established, healthy guild with laidback approach and deadly efficiency.
If you have any questions, feel more than welcome to poke me in-game at drkn.3429 :)

To join us, head over to http://midnight-mayhem.net and follow the steps in our forums.
See you in Tyria!

Good morning, ladies and gents.

We recently celebrated Midnight Mayhem's second birthday. Yay! A lot of fun, rum, and quaggan was had.
Pictures speak better than words - take a peek at some screenies from the event, click here and here for galleries :)
One of our guildies was kind enough to record the whole thing, too :)

We're one of those guilds which value continuity - having never transfered, changed name, or undergone any big alterations, we've been fighting for Gunnar's Hold.
Our daily WvW raids are the hardcore side of the guild's WvW play. We're characterised by open attitude, valuing people's approach and always remembering that real life comes first; if you can't commit to raiding five times a week, that's fine, as long as you do your best when you're around.
Some of our recent WvW raiding footage:

Besides raiding, we're still active with our morning coffee raids, spontaneous pug commanding, both laid back and specialised roaming, as well as general WvW backup.

Midnight Mayhem is an effective, yet really relaxed guild. You won't find super serious, demanding attitude among our ranks...
...as long as you will bow to our quaggan overlords.

The MM PvP team has recently encountered a number of interesting opponents, such as this full necro party. We're getting more adjusted to the meta and better at general teamplay over time.

Our PvE side is as strong as ever. Our commanders have stepped in as main tags for the server's Wurm attempts and we continue to be an asset during the weekly Tequatl kills.

We're open for everyone who feels like joining a community, regardless of your previous experience, hours per week you can dedicate to gaming, or any details like that.

Hello everyone, Midnight Mayhem is still recruiting!
First of all, let me say that MM is aware that a number of new MMOs is coming out/has been launched; but we have no interest whatsoever to move from GW2.
Our guildies, however, are incentivized to make unofficials "Midnight Mayhem" groups/guilds in these games to keep in touch with their friends in the guild. We have an unofficial MM group in pretty much all the major games that offer such feature, and also a steam group.

Today we want to show you a couple of new shinies that the guild started using.
1)The first shiny is our new tumblr page, that is already getting filled with news and info about our adventures.
With tumblr, Midnight Mayhem is now active in 3 major social networks. Our oldest, and most succesful, social network page is without a doubt Facebook; that it has reached 100+ likes! This page has been recently revamped and it's now 1 year old.

While we use the social networks to deepen our guild bonds, our main method of communication and interaction is our forum.
Every guildie has to pass through our forum in order to join, and that's one of MM peculiarities. While other guilds rarely use the forum or prefer not to use it at all; Midnight Mayhem's uses it's functionalities to the fullest to bring our guildies together and at the same time keep a "family" atmosphere, even though our roster is composed by ~400 active guildies.
Our new forum has been launched in November 2013 but has already reached almost 14k posts in such a short time.
Of course all our guildies have an account; but they have no obligation to make new posts, apart from the application.

2)The second shiny MM wants to show you today is the Guesting System. You might be familiar with GW2 guesting; but this has nothing to do with it :P.
Why did we make this system?
The guesting system is meant to be a bridge connecting everyone outside of MM to our guildies. Not only to show how our guild works; but also to expand our community with new people and their experiences, without having the obligation to join our guild. After receiving the "Guest" rank you'll be able to access a variety of forums and join discussions or start new ones.
Everyone can request the guest rank, and it's not binding in any way. Should you decide to join, you can always apply for guild membership later.
You can find all the info you need in this board.

If you want to join today an active and stable guild-community apply at http://www.midnight-mayhem.net !

Time for another status update from Midnight Mayhem.

Something that has not changed:

We're still based on Gunnar's Hold, open for newcomers, single players and small guild merges alike, retaining our laidback, PvX mentality.

But there are a few things that have:

WvW

Our raiders are probably the most visible group of MM players in Gunnar's Hold (especially after megaservers).  Our guild currently has the luxury of having several different raid leaders who operate 5 prime time raids a week (Every night except reset and Sunday when we run our guild misions).  We've come a long way from the confused and befuddled PvE'ers who didn't even understand the concept of stacking might.  We might not be the efficient powerhouse of some other raiding guilds exclusively focused on this activity, but our skill level has reached a point where we can hold our heads high (and our bags full of loot) when facing other guild groups of similar numbers.  Even more important to us, we have not forgotten our raiding roots, which emphasize the fun bonding aspects of raiding.

https://www.youtube....h?v=NKw7Jtaja7g

Members of MM have can joining both our more traditional style prime time raids, or two nights a week (Tuesday and Saturday) join the Suicide Squad.  These raids are somewhat more fight focused and relish the opportunity to test their metal against larger groups and skilled opponents.  Safety not guaranteed, but (if you come with the right attitude) fun is.

We continue to offer the occasional casual raid outside of prime time.  Coffee raids are back, and although we prefer to follow the lovely (and bloodthirsty) Adharsi whenever possible, other MM commanders will occasionally step up from time to time to keep the initiative going.  Expect some more open mic drunken mayhem from us in the future as well.

We open our prime time raids to guild member of all classes, but at the moment our raid composition would benefit greatly from the addition of more heavies for our pain train (warriors and guards).  Although we're far more liberal in what we require from our raiders, we still expect our raiders to bring the right gear, builds and attitudes for raiding.  So long as you are willing to meet to commit to the guidelines set by the raid leaders, we always have room for one more.  Our existing raiders also are happy to help new guildies prepare themselves for this intense but exciting way to play the game.

Our roamers still follow the wolf pack mentality, and tend to only hunt with the people they trust.  Many towers were ninja'ed and supply camps decimated by a MM roamer last season, and will continue to be in the future.  New roamers are always welcome to the guild, but there will be no formal introduction to the group.  It will be up to them to make their own alliances in this shadowy world of WvW (as it should be).

We now run the +5 supply buff 24/7. Many of our trusted raiders and roamers have access to claiming to take advantage of this.  The extra supply goes a surprisingly long way and can make the difference between taking an objective and being forced to abandon it.

As for other parts of wvw?  Many of our guildies also enjoy the Edge of the Mist map from as early as our participation in the beta test.  Sometimes they go there for the badges, sometimes they go to level up an wvw alt, and sometimes they go with their 80s to sow chaos and destruction into the enemy zerg.  Most of our WvW guildies also generally like to support (and follow) any brave soul willing to tag up as part of the zerg.   On a karma train Friday, you can also usually find a cozy group of guildies to have a relaxed conversation with while you cap ALL the things.

PvP

With the changes in the reward system, a greater percentage of our guildies are willing to dip their toes into this part of the game.  Tpvp and Soloq remain the preferred choices of pvp for most of our PvP players. Generally we play as casual groups (with use of teamspeak whenever possible), with no rigid restrictions on who joins. A MM tpvp group can easily have a dragon and a rabbit in the same party. (old picture from before the update where we all got bumped up because it still shows ranks).  This means most of our new PvP players need to learn the meta game quickly, but our more experienced players are a friendly bunch very happy to help them out.  We have good nights and bad nights, but generally we always have fun.

Although we don't ever intend to abandon our “fun first” approach to the game, many of our experienced players are ready (and willing) to take it to the next step and develop more focused and effective teams.  Although we're always interested in having a new PvP player join us of any skill level, we're particularly interested in recruiting players who can provide the necessary leadership to bring us to the next level in tPvP play.

MM also intends to try to promote and organize a few pvp tournaments for the greater gw2 community.  We have one in development which I will give more details to at a future date, but here's a teaser from our in house inaugural run.

PvE

PvE remains the primary interest for the majority of MM members new to the game.  They generally work on map completion and the more casual world bosses with the rest of the megaserver.  For more challenging content, we still have guild only groups doing high level fractals or Arah for fun. Most of us have mastered the mega world bosses and enjoy doing them occasionally.  We also very actively consume any of the new living story content as it arrives.

There are always old hands in the guild willing to help new members learn the ropes of more challenging PvE content.  MM greatly values their young members.  The game cycle of the student becoming the teacher for the next generation of players is a core part of how PvE functions within the guild.  Most of our guild chat organized dungeon runs focus on the quick paths and done at a brisk (zerker gear prefered) but friendly pace.  Guildies are often happy to help another on a less popular path to help them with their dungeon master title, or teach a new player the tips and tricks of completing a more popular path smoothly.

PvX

Probably the most common thread you'll notice about MM is in addition to our guild as a whole doing pretty much everything the game has to offer, many of our players having the same approach as well. Don't be surprised if a fellow raider asks for people to join her to do a 39+ fractal daily when the raid comes to an end.  That silly guildie meowing at mystic forge may actually be a deadly roamer with skills and experience he's willing to share.  The dragon ranked pvp player who you played with one night might be busy doing a jumping puzzle the next.

You don't have to do everything the game has to offer as a member of MM.  But as a member of MM you certainly can.

In general:

We have enough influence (pun intended) to give our guildies access to all of the perks of belonging to a large guild.  We run an organized full guild missions once a week (on Sundays evenings), and give guildies the option to organize their own any time they want.  In addition to the +5 supply buff, we also generally run the +15% Karma and the +10% Magic Find buff  24/7 as well.  By doing the tier 3 guild missions, we can spawn world bosses and buy cheap waypoints for the weekend.

Our forums remain the primary way our guild keeps in touch and shares knowledge of the game.  We expect our members to check them regularly because we announce all of our official events here.    With over an average of 70 post a day, our forums contains a great deal of useful content generated by our members ranging from information about Guild Wars 2 (like detailed tutorials, build theory crafting, and updates about game changes), to more general interests (music, art contests, technical support, other games, and even philosophical discussions).  We also happy to have others not part of our guild to join as a Guest.

MM is now looking to expand its relationships with guilds and organizations to better achieve its goals with the larger PvE content and our own organized community events.  We strongly value the relationship we've grown and developed with our home server, Gunnar's Hold, and will continue to support and take part in Gunnar's Hold events like the Monday Tequatl kill.  Although we're beginning to more actively promote our own PvE and PvP events with the greater guild wars community, [color=purple][b]we intend to give the members of our home server the first invitation
.

If you would like to join the guild, please register and apply at our forum.  You can still find it at:
