anyways, I didn't buy the first game by the way, I downloaded it, gave it a try and I really disliked it. but the good thing is, the second game at least will have awesome soundtracks since jesper kyd (assassin's creed II) is making them.

I didn't say you have to just see no point coming into this thread to say the first was garbage without listing reasons

oh you're right, sorry for that.

well if I have to list a couple reasons why I personally didn't like the first game, it is not really the theme or concept because both are actually cool. story was okay, I just disliked the gameplay and progression. it was like dynasty warriors, hit hit hit, go go go, jump jump jump to me.

other than that, it was decent. why I called it pathetic and funny was because of this. the game had a nice theme but somehow they, I think, wasted it with the funny gameplay if you ask me.

I didn't intend to offend anybody though, sorry for that

I think they went for the gameplay similar to god of war/prince of persia/devil may cry

Yeah it was a great game! And Samael was indeed the best boss fight. Make me wonder wth they were thinking with the last boss.. I mean at leats give the dude a bit more health... My claws had 70 crit chance and 300 crit damage with health steal... the dude was a complete joke on apocalypse and lacked diversity..

And I too find that the end happened way too fast into the story.

I loved the first one, the plot, characters and the whole environment. The sequel will be a definite buy for me.

I really thought people would give up on making games after GW2 came out, clearly nothing would come even close to being as good.
