I thoroughly enjoyed reading about how the personal story sort of evolves, and I am happy to know that it is quite diverse :D especially since I am someone if I love the game, I want to be able to replay through it numerous times.

hmm I still hold my doubts about personl story being great but I bet it will be better than Swtors. Anyway very interesting look at the asura storyline that will be fun :)

This is exactly what personal story needs to be to expand the MMORPG genre to new, immersive players: RPG first, MMO as a close, highly supported second!  I love it!

You can always lvl up through WvWvW and speed through the story line without doing any DEs :)

I am SO looking forward to playing an Asura :D
Throws up the question of main again...I wanted to have a Sylvari as my main, but then again, I just love the megalomaniac little critters...no chance but to try it out on release :D (or rather, 3 days before release – I alreade decided not to go with my favourites during the BWEs)

Really though, it appears as if I do need to at least play through once with each race :)

Well here's hoping that when you get to the end of your personal story that it doesn't end with 3 different ending that have no bearing what so ever on the decisions that you made in the game.

I'd like to point out:  We have our first images of asura kids!  There are two little dudes in the golem throwdown picture.  (And is that Zojja I see to the far right, or just someone with the same outfit?)

I played all the way through the Bounty Hunter, Consular, and Imperial Agent stories and they are all pretty great. They all have pretty great humor and plot twists too. Do I think ArenaNet's stories will be better? I do. I also think BioWare  has proven time and again they are more than capable in crafting a great tale too.
