Hope this will come in handy sometime.

I merely put the alphabets design in a "suitcase" so now it is a True Type font file, the font design remains the work of the artist and ArenaNet. I claim nothing, so do not be using it for anything commercial as this is a copyrighted material belonging to the artist and ArenaNet.

Pie_Tyria_Font 1
< zip file, sorry i don't think skydrive lets me upload .rar file, since it converted my .rar into a zip the last time I try. (click on the zipped up folder icon to the left (big one) to download.
Pie_Tyria_Script_1

1 is for version 1, I might make another one, probably not version 2, but am thinking of making one with a bit of a script/serif type, this one has the straight stick look with rounded corners.

Still learning to use the font program, so kerning and stuffs aren't properly implemented, also since this is a small font family, meaning it only has one set of a-z without numbers or capital letters I thought i use the upper case function as the bold version of the font instead of making an entirely new font file that is the bold version.

Hope you find it useful. :o

This is a more grunge/chalk like presentation of the Old Ascalonian Font.

It is. Same order as the English alphabet.

BTW, do the canthan alphabet and I'll be really impressed. :p

But still... *steals* Could prove to be helpful with my fan-fiction. Or anything GW related.

I was starting work on doing this yesterday. SO GLAD YOU ALREADY HAVE.

It's really spectacular work. Many many props.

I particularly like the Script version. It's very effectively stylized.

Good luck, seeing how there isn't so much an alphabet as much as it's more like the characters show words. This is an accurate translation. You can do numbers though.

Elonian has no translation, nor does any other. Except Asuran, which is translatable, but has not been translated yet.

I know the numbers are not canon, i made them up ^^ based upon the style of the Tyrian alfabet, so they look pretty legit if you'dd ask me :)

Ooo, very cool! *downloads* I'll be putting this to use before long, I guarantee it! :D Good job Pumpkin, looking forward to the Canthan version as well!

EDIT:

I was looking up languages, and there is an Elonian language; however, as Konig said, it says it's untranslatable. That bites, because I like it. hehe The Charr language in the battle plan decoder is interesting; it's like pictures. :D

It says the Asuran language can be translated, but hasn't been done. If only I had some knowledge on this stuff I'd try it myself. :D

Problem sofar with the Asuran language, is that there seems to only be one banner with writing on it? Having multiple text enlarges chances on translation especially since the characters seem to be written very close to another, which makes it hard to distinguish single characters ... having more texts makes identification simpler, then having a good reference helps, ak, where is this banner placed to deduct a possible meaning of the words, which can then help to translate ...

On the charr language though, seeing its both a translator as a decoder, linking the origional text to the translation might prove to turn out a wrong translation seeing it also decodes the language into its respective message... unless the decoder is only a translator, in which case you should be able to deduct the Charr language from having both the origional as the translated tekst...

Would be nice to have Anet turn up with the numbers for old Ascalon writing, that would make a full font type ^ ^ ... seeing it only took me 30 min or so, surely someone at Anet can wrestle with it, and make it canon :)

For the Asura language: 2 banners. Not one.

For the Charr language: Matthew Medina, one of the rune makers of Anet, has said that there is no written language but instead there are symbols which represent things of the charr culture, such as strength, honor, victory, war.

Thanks everyone for their kind words :)

All are welcome to use it, I saw how it looks, the other day, someone used it, and I thought it needed another "thickness" a medium one, the thin one look slightly too thin.

A bit busy lately, so the cantha font will take a while, when I have time it would just take a day or two.

I'm having trouble decompressing the file. WinRAR encounters an error.

Had no issue with WinRAR myself. @drew: right click on the file and click "insall" as shown in the IP.

! \Pie^_Tyria^_1.zip: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged

I downloaded it twice to check, same result (as with the other files).
