Like the title says. How do they work for the warrior?

They're a temporary buff. Frenzy and Balanced Stance break stun, while Berserker stance lasts about four times as long. They can all be traited to have a 25% faster cooldown and grant vigor to the warrior.

Correction here:
Sure-footed--Increased stance duration by 25%.

>Here< are all the stances.

Shield and Berserker Stance are also toogle skills which can go to their full duration or be turned off in between.

Can you have multiple stances on at the same time, or just one at a time?

Stances are no longer a special skill type (apart from their descriptor) and are basically now just short duration buffs, so yes, they can stack.

Thats silly, it would have been cool to actually have to manage combat stances...
Well Anet would have to setup a few like as a class mechanic and what not.

Sigh, well guess we just have to take what we can get :/

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed that they're just short buffs. Stance implies something a little more long term. I haven't found any use for them in a build yet as active abilities (but the endure pain at 25% trait is almost always worth taking.)

Not just short buffs, but utility slot short buffs.  Which makes them nothing special...

Anybody know how long "balanced stance" lasts?
